Okay, we can combine a custom order with a regular order. So, JMGraham that will work. They also do have discounts for larger orders, although I don't know if we have enough for that or not. I'm going to send in what we do need and see what they say. Does the club need any more mats for OFCC?

Okay, we're up potentially up to 6 orders. I e-mailed DeepCut to ask about a discount for a large order and to check on getting JMGraham a custom mat. It looks like this will work out.

With 4 mats purchased it works out to about $15 each for shipping. Far better than the $43 you'd pay normally. It's actually helpful that the pound is down a bit with the whole Brexit thing.

Shipping costs don't seem to increase per mat purchased. I'll leave this here another day or two to see if there is more interest and then we can coordinate an order.

I'm looking at buying a game mat from Deep Cut Studios. The prices are pretty reasonable, but the shipping is brutal. So, I thought I'd see if anyone else has considered a purchase and wanted to combine shipping.

I have a fully painted team with trolls, weapons, characters, cheerleaders, and a coach. Haven't used them in years. If your other deals don't work out shoot me a message.

Just read Anathem by Neal Stephenson. I loved the world he built, but wasn't as sure of the way the tone of the story changed in the second half.

He was shoe horned in....and awesome. These aren't mutually exclusive concepts.

Civil War - Yay lots of fun. If you've been enjoying the marvel movies you'll enjoy this one. Lots of characters, but it felt like they all had time to be themselves. Spidey was awesome. As was Ant Man.

Dice Age Games is hosting a Star Wars Armada regional tournament on May 7th. It's a great chance to get some games in and win some exclusive prizes. The entry is only $10.

We've started a few settlements, but have had trouble getting together any kind of consistent group to play. Our current settlement is around LY 12 or so and is feeling pretty strong. Considering hunting our first Phoenix at this point. This settlement has survivors named after GoT characters. That way it's never too surprising or disappointing when they die horrible deaths. Also found an iOS survivor/settlement manager that's been really helpful. Be happy to host a game in the 'Couv if there's interest.

I have a large-ish PHR army and I really like them. The low mobility can be frustrating at times, but with practice is less of a handicap. They are well worth the trouble of magnetizing if you have the inclination. I've also got some Scourge that I'd like to part with eventually so I have the excuse to buy into the Resistance.

Nice. Which army did you buy into?

Been re-watching Daredevil in anticipation of season 2. It is a damn good show. Really enjoying the characterizations of the series antagonists.

Did you go check it out?

Been really enjoying this game. Felt like I've barely scratched the surface of the core game. Can't wait to use the expansions though.

I love Dropzone Commander, it's a really great game. Be happy to coordinate a demo game for you guys at some point. I've got ample terrain and a couple of armies. I think there's a small group that plays at Portland Game Store, but I've not been over to check it out yet.

The Wookie is okay, but we've found the Old Man to be almost indispensable. His support abilities are just so useful for completing the missions.
