  1. I sent you a message about it and thanks for any help. I also can be e-mailed at Jancoran@hotmail.com
  2. Scroll down. There is a Details section and then a "see more" link below that. It shows all the basics. There really isn't any other info there that isn't here. Posts won't show, I am sure, unless you've joined the FB event. That's normal. I know some don't have FB, not even for stuff like this, but that's just a limitation of Facebook.
  3. Now that we have filled all the pre-registration slots, I want to make SURE everyone takes just three minutes to absorb the tournament rules that are listed in this tournaments section and/or on the Facebook page. Due to a recent incident, we want to make certain everyone has read them! They have been updated to reflect a couple good questions that got asked.

  5. I added more pics to several of the batreps.
  6. Imperial Fists and the Faithful 32 Vs. Sisters of Battle. ITC Mission 2. Hammer and Anvil. Sisters Deploy First, and get choice of going first or second. Sisters deployed in standard formation, with Celestine just slightly behind the go line, and her Faithful aligned as wings to either side of her, while her coterie of command Dialogi, Canoness, and the Warlord Mistress stood faithfully around her. Uriah and his miscreant Arco-Flagellents tool the left flank in a ruin. Purple Squad stood to the rear as Engineers on an objective. The Imperial Fists aligned themselves mostly around their Warlord who effectively was a Chapter Master and Lieutenant combined. Two of his Primaris units were Veterans. Hellblasters to my left, and his Tactical Marines to the far right with the Scouts in more ruins with lines of sight to the Exorcist tanks who were spread out to cut off Deep Strikers. The Catachans stood behind them blocking off the Seraphim deep strikes. To the far left was his Lascannon Predator. The Imperial Fists seized initiative. 1 The Lascannon Predator put 5 wounds on the central Exorcist while the Missile Launching Marines on the right put 4 on another. The ‘Fists had chosen to Mark the Sisters Squads for Death and used some crazy Stratagem shenanigans to roll a blizzard of shots into the Yellow Squad to my left. His combined fire killed all but the Simulacrum Imperialis in the unit. It maintained its faith in the Emperor however. So no units killed. The Sisters of Battle were startled awake by the immensity of the firepower they just witnessed and swung Pink and Teal squads to the right as they could, at full tilt, and so almost nothing fired hoping to take cover in the shadow of the central LOS blocker. Red Squad streaked up the right flank trying to stay in the shadow of a building as much as possible but to little avail. Green Squad streaked up the left flank and attempted to take SOME cover from a building but couldn’t get all their ladies there. Celestine knew no other way than to lead but from the front and so she did, leaping over the central building and alighting onto the central objective at the head ofher host. Uriah Jacobus advanced with his Arco-Flagellents to my left and into another building. The Exorcists were about as dismal as could be,firing 1 shot apiece and totaling 2 wounds for the round on the Lascannon Predator. Not good. No kills, and now if the Imperial Fists moved forward they would be able to hit awfully hard. The survivor of Yellow Squad shot out of sight and stood very quiet and still against a wall to conceal her from harm. 2 The Imperial Fists saw their opening and the Chapter Master ordered his men forward and to my right in order to get the firing lane they needed, so both Primaris units followed the order. One killed Celestine outright, and the second fired on and whittled Teal Squad with the help of a third Tactical Squad standing sentinel in the middle, but failed the 10” charge to Celestine later. The Imperial Guardsman came forward and allotted some Lasgun fire into Red Squad on my right and their fire breathing Company Commander brought his fist up for the rest to follow him! The two Tactical Squads again fired their Missiles at the Ecxorcists as did the Lascannon Predator taking one of the Exorcists down to just 2 wounds. The Shield of its Faith was strong enough to resist some of the fusillade. The Hellblasters shot the Green Squad which had failed to find enough cover and killed several on the left. Despite the beating, Morale held and Celestine rose again! She narrowed her eyes and pointed her blades at the Tacticals holding the center… “CHARGE!” she yelled, and she did so. “Give them Fiery Absolution” replied the Mistress, our Warlord, where she sat atop the central building, becoming a vessel of the Emperor Himself. Pink Squad came in behind Celestine up the middle(and in fact their Faith brought them 3” farther than normal, so buoyed were they by their leader) along with Teal squad. Collectively Teal Squad and Pink Squad annihilated the Primaris Marines that had tried to charge Celestine, although unfortunately not the ones they had marked for Death. Red Squad moved up on the right and opened fire on the Imperial Guard, wiping them to a man and killed couple of the missile toting Marines with their Meltaguns while at it. The center and right were awash with blood. On the left Green Squad came out of hiding and killed three of the Hellblasters and then they charged, expecting the Arco-Flagellents to follow enthusiastically. But they seemed to have become confused and failed this simple task, leaving it up to the Uriah emboldened Sisters of Battle who did not do much more than hug the Hellblasters and force a couple of dents in their armor. They lost 4 of their own just in the overwatch, but came out of the charge in reasonable shape. Celestines Sword flamed out at the Tactical Marines and then charged the center, killing all but one of the Marines DESPITE fighting twice with Faithful Fervor, but she managed to lock him up and the IG commander who had so boldly and heroically entervened. Celestine was impressed. Purple Squad worked the radio in the backfield as Engineers are wont to do. The Exorcists tanks tried quite unsuccessfully to roll above a 1 for their number of shots. Again. Not great. One of them moved up along the left flank to cover the rear of the Arco Flagellents. Three Seraphim squads alighted quietly behind the central tower… 3 The IG Company Commanders intervention was a ruse and as soon as Celestine thought she had him, he backed away in a “retrograde action”, along with the surviving Tactical Marine. It was a trap! The Chapter Master smirked and ordered his second unit of Primaris Veterans to slaughter her and they obediently did so, forming and moving to the right and then unleashing all the shenanigans. The Hell Blasters backed away from the embrace of the Green Squad on the left and back towards their Lieutenant and their Psyker whose powers were largely quelled by the Sisters of Battle. The Lascannon Predator fired at and killed the Exorcist in the center that had been damaged to the point of uselessness. It was now slag. The Marines to the right along with their scouts opened up on Red Squad, who proved remarkably resilient, perhaps emboldened and fortified by the actions of their beloved leader and her death. Terminatos and Lysander himself dropped in behind one of the Exorcists that had moved forward and Lysander gashed its side open, esposing ammunition and pilots alike. 9 wounds in just one mighty go! The Imperial Guard continued to move forward down the middle and laying down withering lasgun fire on Teal Squad and cutting it down to size. Largely the round wasone of retreat however and a glimmer of hope was there to be had with the loss of Celestine and of the Exorcist. Perhaps this was the moment, they thought… The Mistress simmered with anger and had other plans. She sent The Green Squad to cleanse the Hellblasters in melta fire, and then the Arco Flagellents into the Hell Blasters. The Hellblasters were obliterated and then the Arco-Flagellents consolidated into the Lascannon Predator. The Mistress sent the Pink and Teal Squad to kill the marked for death Primaris Marines, and they too were Obliterated with the Holy Trinity of Bolter, Meltagun and Flamer. The Vessel of the Emperors shone like a beacon in that moment. Red Squad killed their share to the right as well, overwhelming the Guardsmen and the Marines with bolter fire. Not as crazy as the middle, but plenty potent enough to convince them that their time had come. The Canoness who had been gliding behind Teal and Pink Squad made sure to secure the central objective once more as the Dialogus’s floated by her singing the Emperors praises to the enraged Sisterhood. Lysanders charge would be his last act, as the Seraphim leaper to him and melted him with their fearsome Fusion Pistols. An exorcist actually did something and killed…one… Terminator. It was quite exciting. The heart of the enemy was cut out. 4 The Predator backed away and the Lieutenant and Librarian shot them and killed one. The Chapter Master came from hisperch to come and charge into the Green Squad and the Arco Flagellents in one last desperate attempt to save the day but it was over. The Tactical Marines took half hearted pot shots at the Red Squad and Exorcist once more, but that was about all there was left to do before surrendering their lives. And surrender them all they did. Sisters of Battle Victory. 34-10
  7. Check out the custom art someone made for this! Thanks to John Smith for his contribution!!!
  8. Sure, no problem. There is also a posting in the tournament section.
  9. Well for those interested, i am going to just update things on the Facebook event page moving forward, which is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/667885086982742/ That will be easier than doing it in three different places over and over. So check in with us and we will be getting the silent auction going as soon as Pics are available. It will be a good chance to get some cool stuff while having the fundage head the way of Nathans family. Thanks for starting this thread and letting me know, so that I could be proactive in doing something about it! Appreciated.
  10. Hammer and Anvil, ITC Mission 2 I played Rob Smith’s DeathWatch. Heavy duty concentrations of StormBolter fire from Storm Shielded Veterans as you would expect. An Imperial Knight with Gatling, Battle Cannon and Ironstorm launcher.characters for buffing and then the Faithful 32 except that he had a Battle Cannon Commander instead of just a company commander (quite an upgrade!) and the X-Factor was the Corvus Blackstar. I deployed my army first, then he did. I then decided to make him go first. 1 He had assumed I would go first and so he had to spend some time repositioning round 1. His Commander tank couldn’t get all its shots in because of it. The Knight had to romp forward to get into range, and so the first round was relatively light. That being said, the Exorcists did get showered with attention. Red Squad was quite decimated. He used his Knight to snipe the Purple Squad of Engineers in the way back and killed one of those as well. The Corvus opted to stay back and away from the wall of Meltaguns my Sisters had and went to hover mode, helping the Knight try to kill the furthest Exorcist. The Sisters swung right and did not approach the Stormbolter gunline, using the shadow of the central LOS blocker for cover while my other Engineers, the Arco-Flagellents snuck in behind the Central builing to cap the center objective. The Exorcists tried to slay the Knight and did a disappointing 7 wounds in total. We had agonized over whether to shoot the Corvus Blackstar but we didn’t. Perhaps we should have. Celestine stayed back as did most of the force. 2 Round 2 saw him get a little more aggressive. He pounded Red Squad to dust which was one of his Marked for Death objectives, and killed an Exorcist, wounding another in a similar fire pattern as before. Only this time his Deathwatch moved up in order to stop me from being able to avoid him. He began raining death on Green Squad and Pink Squad. The Blackstar stayed back again, shifting over to the left to get shots in on the Exorcists, and it did. Again the Knight sniped at Purple Squad in the way-back, killing another and trying to pry me off of it as well as killing Exorcists. It finally got to unleash its gatling cannon on Teal Squad, but Teal Squad proved remarkably resilient. The Sisters responded to the aggression by absolutely advancing their asses off upfield. A huge surge of Sisters poured forward at maximum effort on the right side, while Pink and Yellow Squad ran up the left side. The Arco Flagellents stayed relatively central to continue taking the central objective. The Seraphim jumped in on the left side and in some ruins to obscure themselves. The Exorcists again tried to end the Knight…and again got very disappointing results. It was another 7 wounds dealt by th remaining tanks (one which had taken 5 wounds). 3 The Deathwatch and Imperial Guard swept left to their left (my right) to avoid the Seraphim, and gain more shots on the larger force threatening them. Pink Squad was whittled as was Green Squad and they figured Celestine and the gang featured a lot scarier threat. One Imperial Guardsquad wasleft to ancher (read: die) on their right flank and hopefully slow the role of the Seraphim. The fusillade was pretty strong and Green Squad was badly battered by it as was another Exorcist tank which exploded. Space was getting to be at a premium in the DeathWatch deployment zone and still be within 6” of their buffing Commander so they were very much clumped near the Corvus Blackstar at that point. The Teal Squad which had rushed forward last turn was now speeding right towards it, advancing. Thanks to the Act of Faith giving them +1 to hit, the Meltaguns hit normally and did serious damage. The job was finished by another gun and it exploded epically. The way they were clustered ended up costing them 15 deathwatch in the explosion. Given that I had mostly advanced again, and not shot a lot, this was quite a coup. The Exorcist in the back actually managed to kill the Command Tank! Suddenly, a lot less to fight with. 11 Guardsman from two different units got caught in the blast as well. The Seraphim did hunt down and kill most of the Guard that were left to guard the rear objective. Celestine finally engaged, killing a unit remnant and now being the closest target but didn’t quite kill them all. A few did desert their post though. 4 The Deathwatch counter attacked moving forward, shooting Teal Squad into almost nothing, and then charging Celestine and taking her down in combat. She did get up though. The Knight vacillated on joining in but did dohis work on Teal Squad and of course Purple squad again. The mission now was straightforward enough: shoot the sisters and charge the inferior Sisters until they go away. It seemed to be working, although the Seraphim did indeed butcher the remainder of the spirited guardsman and got the bonus point for owning the enemy objective and the central one. When the Seraphim could fly again, two units of them blasted the crap out of the squad that had fled left earlier with Fiery absolution offered. Pink and Yellow Squads poured fire on them as well, finally close enough to do much more than move. Things began to disappear. Celestine was risen and threw herself at the enemy slaying their Warlord. The Canoness helped in the effort but ultimately was badly wounded for her efforts. At this stage with the Knight, some few IG left and a smattering of veterans, it was over. He conceded. His only kills were Red Squad and two Exorcist Final Score 28-14 I think Sisters of Battle.
  11. Smashing success!!! All tables were filled and good times were indeed had. Hi-lites for me were the top table, which was a player just returning to 40K, using Grey Knights, no less. WTG Michael Halverson. Whuuuuuuut are the odds of that? But it happened and we had some very strong armies there so it was significant. My PERSONAL favorite conversion was Hank Adams and his hilarious Knight with its huge bonnet and dress. Yes really. It was great. One of our players, Josh Reyes, had a really good looking Chaos Knight he converted up as a table ornament which wasn't in his army, but it was very cool also. Shout out to the hobby mastaz at this event. Just a ton of REALLY good looking armies. Best Sportsman honors went to Ben Jeffries and his Dark Angels. Good jerb. Best General went to Timothy Alexander and his brutal Adeptus Mechanicus. He's been refining that list with increasingly deadly results, and it finally clicked into place for him when it mattered most. Fun moment in the finak game was when Drago cut the Castellan Knight to pieces and exploded it, kilking 5of his own Kataphrons, nearly killing Cawl, and a huge swath of Grey Knights and other things. Pretty epic. Best painted was determined by our guest paint judge, Rinn (thanks for the far more expert eye than I have). Rory Corpuz was our winner for Best Paint!!! Thanks a lot to everyone who made it a fun event. I expect I'll see many of you at the June 29th fund raising event. Feel free to post your pics on the Facebook event page!!!
  12. In other news: the event looks to be a full one.
  13. The deed is done. Event just filled up. The silent auction will be a variety of items people are sending, to be sold to the highest bidder. You will be able to bid for them and pick them up at the event. If you wish to donate any items, PM me. Let's get excited for this!
  14. Pics of the battlefields are up on the FB page. Is your stuff painted? HAVE YOU printed out lists for each opponent (if not, start printing). Have you gotten your tape measure, dice, stratagem cards and the like into your box ready to transport? Have you told your lovely significant other not to expect you at all Saturday? If so, you're ready!
  15. Its all about what they do with the Celestians and the Penetent Engines. Those two units being cool and then maybe...maybe... another look at Sisters Repentia (though I already like them, they kinda need like a one round oomph factor or something like that). Maybe throw the Command Squads back in from the White Dwarf. i kinda liked that idea also even though it wasn't 100% airtight on the rules. Repressors IN the Codex, so they are forced to balance them and update them. Do that, and I'd be happy. Real happy.
  16. Another fight. This time the Drago's Grey Knghts with a Super heavy Shadowsword to join them. Terminators a couple of Strike Squads a couple of Venerable Dreadnoughts who spelled trouble for my Exorcists. Compact and powerful. My Sisters lost first turn. It was the Pointy Hammer and Anvil deployment. I placed Celestine and her Sacred Wings of Sisters of Battle behind the central bastion as much as possible and used my Arco-Flagellents, Red Squad to the left and and Purple Squad to the right to cut off the rear from Deep Strikes. The Grey Kights stayed back except for one Strike Squad who was obviously placed to take the central objective and possibly hold more turn 1. 1 The Venerables and the Shadowsword fired down on the Exorcists, killing one and damaging another. First Blood. The Strike Squads took objectives. one of them advanced to the center to take the Central one, while the other cowered in a Ruin to the rear. Celestine jumped forward as did the Pink Squad and they collectively slaughtered the Strike Squad down to 1 member, who could not hold the objective against the Pink Squad who had more within 3". However that meant that I had killed nothing. My remaining Exorcists put 12 wounds on the Super Heavy, and considering they only hit twice, that was a miracle on its own. 3-1 GK advantage on Primaries 2 The Exorcists were both brought to within an inch of their lives by the Super heavy and Venerable Dreadnoughts. Drago Teelported his dread coterie in, with his Ancient and his Apothecarie, plus 9 Terminators, to try and dominate the Pink Squad and Celestine. Their Storm Bolters roared and killed many behind Pink Squad but they didn't want to shoot the Pink Ladies themselves for fear of failing the charge. Then they charged. Only the Ancient and Apothecary made it into the Pink Squad and Celestine. Celestine made her Act of Faith to fight twice but failed and so after the Ancient had done his grisly work, Celestine Counter-Attacked and killed the Apothecary, and then the Ancient was finished with Overwatch fire and the members of Pink Squad killed the last member of the Strike Squad and dominated the center objective. Celestine was free to act and so she used the Act of Faith to gain 3" on her move. She shot past Drago and his men to attack the Strike Squad that was behind them in the ruins, hoping to take the objective from them, slashing and burning them in her fury. She attacked twice but one survived. Castellan Crowe descended to the ground on the right Then it was our turn. the Arco Flagellents surged forth from their hiding place while Purple Squad took their place to do their duty as Engineers. The Arco-Flagellents propelled themselves towards Castellan Crowe with Uriah Jacobus bellowing rhetoric right along with them. ALL of the Sisters of Battle massed and surged forward from the back to the front, Advancing towards the enemy at absolutely maximum speed, only able to fire meltas but the Warlord Mistress of Repentence became a Vessel for the Emperor making it easier for them to hit despite the advancing penalty! Many Terminators died in the ensuing moment. The Pink squad had advanced up and around the Terminators forming an envelope they could not easily escape! This kept the Terminators from getting past the Pink Squad, buty every member of Pink Squad understood that they were sacrificing their own lives inevitably by doing so. They did their duty nonetheless. The Exorcists continued to pound on the Super heavy IG tank, but as they were quite damaged it was a miracle that they could hit anything. Nonetheless their potent shots did indeed do damage to the Super Heavy once more, draining its accuracy and vitality with punishing blows. The Seraphim alighted Quietly between the Dreadnoughts, and near enough to get ot the Super heavy whose hull was now badly damaged. They waited ever so patiently for their moment, exposed bur ready for the Cause of Righteousness to use them. 5-4 Sisters advantage on Primaries 3 Castellan Crowe came forward and failed his charge. Drago gave the order and the Terminators blistered the Pink Squad, crushing them utterly. Drago himself fell back to take Celestines life, and one of the Venerable Dreadnoughts joined Drago in the attack. His blows nearly hammered her to death before she could kill the last member of the Strike Squad holding the objective. The Dreadnought finished the job. Her fallen body lay serene, a glow about it... And she sprang to life as the Emperors will was made manifest!!! The last member of the Strike Squad looked on in horrible awe, while Drago smirked. He'd killed many like her before and he'd kill her too. The warp was filled with "inevitables" like her and he was well aquainted. The Shadowsword was startled into action and fired its Heavy bolter fusillade at the Seraphim, while its big cannons took out one of the Exorcists...which exploded and kill the other one! A masterful stroke. The Warlord was nearly killed in the explosion. The second Venerable turned around and assulted the front Seraphim and killed them outright with its mighty fists alone. The Arco-Flagellents ate Castellan Crowe. Literally. The Seraphim split up and stretched out and took out their Fusion pistols. They took careful aim and blew both the venerable Dreadnought and the Super Heavy top kingdom come. The Sisters of Battle surged forth again, all of them advancing and then laying down terrifying firepower down on the Terminators. One by one they fell until Pink Squad was completely avenged. In all there were 15 meltaguns all empowered by the Vessel of the Emperor once more even after advancing. Like dominoes they went down, Yellow Squad also firing its bolters into them. Celestine was risen indeed and she cut the throat of Drago and his Strike Squad. The Venerable had one wound left and had vengeance on its mind. 8-7 Sisters of Battle Advantage on Primaries 4 The Venerable Dreadnought took Celestine and tore her in half. This time there was no glow. This time it was over. With nothing left on the field but the Venerable Dreadnought, the Seraphim flew to the side of their fallen Saint and then into the unfeeling metal visage of the Venerable for whom death was nothing but a mercy. They gave him that mercy. The Grey Knights were tabled. Adepta Sororitas victory. Final score: 33-18 Overall: 20-2 with the list.
