  1. Me too. I don't get out to do this much. Had fun, thanks
  2. I am going to try to be there. I may show up about 7pm. But I am bringing lizards to paint.
  3. Sounds like you got to be quick. You don't want those questions to start. Good luck
  4. So Mexican Ninja, why do you consistently bash every Lizardman unit that someone talks about? Wether it be an Ethereal Slann, skinks, or a Bastiladon. I'm sorry that they don't meet your expectations. I'm sorry that they are not as cheese as the warlocks that the Dark Elves have. Or maybe not as sissy as the new dwarves are. Hero as well as others have produced information on units and character builds that actually work. Either for their point cost or their role in the grand scheme of their army tactics. I have yet to see anything but mud slinging on peoples love for their Lizardman army.
  5. Bastiladons serve a purpose. Mostly in a game were you don't plan on bringing a slann. He provides some really good magical blasts. One good hit from that guy, and your opponent starts to look his way.
  6. Yeah, but if your slann is turned around or is behind something that would not allow LoS. Of course it's not always going to work, but it's an option that I can use from time to time, and sometimes at the right moment. Also what if I want to give my slann something else to carry instead of a scroll. This is a great option.
  7. Well first off 2 skink priests are really awsome for casting through them. You don't need to use there magic, but they also allow for 2 more channeling attempts, not to mention 2 scroll caddies. I think if you play them correct, your opponent will being looking at trying to get rid of those pesky skinks.
  8. So I'm am looking for Trollbloods if someone is parting ways with there's. I have stuff to trade and or I can buy. Also I can paint your army in exchange as well. If you need references to my paint style, I can send you pics.
  9. So what do we all think is coming next? If not selling certain models on the GW website is any way, shape, or form an indication of what's to come. Well then, GW has taken off a heck of a lot of Brettonian models that are no longer available. Hmmmmmm, they did something very similar to Lizardmen. So do you guys think Brett's are coming next. I guess we will see. By the way, I am hoping for a new Brett book myself. There is something to say about an army where more than half of it is on horseback. Let's go GW, and let's start the Brett Revolution. It's a long time due......
  10. Well the GW writers weren't as nice to us as they were to DE players. DE players were truly blessed by their book. My answer to that would be to still bring skinks but give them help with those 10 units by bringing an ancient Stegadon, 3 units of Terradons, and either my razors or my salamanders. You see I will just keep shooting at you from every direction until 10 become 5, and then 5 become 1. Every army has an answer, DE are no different, we just need to play them a bit to figure what your kriptonite is.
  11. First off, Ethereal slanns should not be out venturing on their own. They are to powerful and to expensive for a stray Random magic missile to take him out. He actually should never see combat unless he is in a block of TG 20+, and then he should be a last option or an easy combat for that unit to handle. You see the slann is a trickster in his ploys.
  12. I still think that Lizardmen are by far the best to play against and to play with. They are not boring, they have every phase locked down, they have big monsters to annoying shooters. They have one of the toughest mages in the game, their infantry could have been a bit better, but I will take it just the same, oh yeah, I will just buff them with my power Mage. The only other army that is just as fun to play is Ogres, and then maybe Orcs and goblins.
  13. My 2 least favorite to play are shooty elves. "of all elf type", and gunlines, gunlines, gunlines. I myself love big monsters. I can't stand it when I get cannon balled off the table round one. Or dancing elves that dance around and around and around. I like smash mouth. But I do get it. Some people have to bring that because they fear hand to hand. :)
  14. Sorry I can't make it. It's my weekend to work. Perhaps next time.
  15. If it had a bunch of Rippers, a Bastiladon, and a custom ancient Stegadon. Those were mine. I am currently working on a converted bastiladon and painting up my old blood on the carny. I am also repainting my skinks and some of my saurus are getting a face lift. I really love working on my Lizardmen. There are just so many ideas you can run with.
  16. I know the feelings you have with this addiction for the game. I myself have both of the armies you are looking into. My first love is and always will be the lizards. They have some beautiful models and so many ways to convert them so they look nothing like any other Lizardmen force you might come across. They have one of the best painting schemes in the game and for play style, you pick your poison. Ogres are also great, in fact my second love. They also have really great conversion ability and play style to compete. Both armies are monster heavy armies and that is a big plus for me. I also love the fluff on both armies. Anyways I can't wait to see what you have picked to play
  17. And if people would allow us to use our named characters. Tetto can make that carny Vangaurd with swiftstride.
