That is a pretty nice conversion. But I just converted my own using the top portion of the sphinx model, his blades, some bits fron Scibor, and a sculpted lower half to look as if he is wearing a robe with it being textured on the bottom to show he is coming out of the sands. Sorry, I built him a while back but have not had the inspiration to paint him yet. I want him to really pop out and be a center piece for my Tomb Kings.

So I heard that there was a site that sold Warhammer knock offs from China. does anyone know what that site is. I was told it, but I forgot it.

Mournfangs are not boring. They provide some really good run down ability and you can really convert the hell out of them.i like mournfangs, they are gunline runners, steam tank punchers, and monster hunters. I have had a lot of success with them. I also like man eaters and they are worth their weight in gold. So it all depends on what you want your army to look like on the field.

Display board..... Who had time for one of them.I got done at midnight with all the touch ups. I am still trying it figure out where my movement trays went that I made 2 weeks ago, they literally walked away.

So is anyone concerned about the scenarios for the Brawl? Which armies do you think will benefit or get hurt by these scenarios? Which one is your favorite and which one is not?

Hey ninja what does your list look like that you are bringing to the Brawl?

One week from today, exactly, we will be throwing down on an awsome event. I have really been looking forward to this event for quite some time. I am excited to bring my troll horde to see how much CHAOS they can bring. I am also excited to see what people have been working on and it's going to great to see old friends and meet new ones.

Well, im heading into the shop to pic up a few things. Too bad the weather screwed plans all up. Hopefully soon we can play.

By the way Matt. I learned a lot about Warhammer by you beating me with your Skaven. And I thank you for that and those games. We need to get more games in.

I play competitive no matter what venue I play in. That's just me, I try and bring nicely painted army that gets a few browsers. I hope that my work would enthuse other hobby goers. I have been guilty of bringing a tough list that has made other players mad, I have also been that guy that has gotten his behind handed to him from very scary lists, but that's the game in a nut shell. I learn from every game I play, I learn from almost every player I play against. Either tacticis or painting and modeling techniques. I agree pick an army you will love, you will be putting a lot of time into your army.

Well my progress is moving but it seems like every time I get something done, I want to add something or I want to change the look completely. Anyhow, I am getting my trolls all finished with the swamp basing and giant movement tray? I am also getting very close to having my Warshrine done. Boy that's a lot of small crevasses to paint.

If you are looking for a low model count, an army that can actually hang around as you learn, and still have cool fluff, cool monsters, great magic, and some fire power. Then ogres are you friends. They have a couple great builds and the conversion possibilities are endless.

So I have a metal hellcannon to trade. I am looking for Hordes, or DE stuff. Let me know.

I have some of what you seek. I have the temple guard, like 20, I have Lord Kroak.

I guess I have to paint another Daemon Prince due to the chance of rolling really lucky on the Eye table. Probably will never see any table time, but if I don't have it, I can't use it.
