I have a scorpions labeled station on pandora.

Any upgrade on the lord of skulls pushes him 200 points over the scorpion. You lose the d weapon but most of the time it doesn't matter.

It was the Cerberus heavy tank destroyer. It doesn't shake you can only snap fire. As both of my weapons can't snap fire it made him useless on shooting.

If khorne gets berserkers on juggers I might bring the khorne dozer back to Spokane.

The typhon's gun shakes super heavys. I totally forgot about possession since he never shakes. All the tourneys that allow lords of war allow forgeworld from what I have seen. They just limit D shooting.

Brass scorpion is the better khorne super heavy and is currently on my to buy list. He may be in my ofcc open list.

At Tshft in January 1st game lord of skulls survived but rest of army got shot off board by eldar 2 nd game made a 12" charge into a knight and ate d. 3rd game got typhon to shake him so he could not shoot. 4th game got thunder hammered by bike lord. 5th game surived lost rest of army. Sure the rest of my army was not great but when compared to say a warhound he is not as good. He did better at the harvester where I had better supporting army. Invisible, true named khornedozer is way tougher.

I played the lord of skulls in two events in the last 4 months. He is completely underpowered when compared to other lords of war and most armies have no problem punching through his armour or tieing him up in close combat.

Yes it is something different about him 1 he can tank shock up to 12" 2 tank shock is not slowed by difficult 3 nothing says you can not charge after a tank shock. Thunderblitz shoot then charge. The lord of skulls is so many points. He needs all the power he can get.

You can play with unbound but you have to make missions to deal with all the eggs in one basket approach. Adepticon gladiator used missions with things like stasis missiles and vortex grenades. You could play where if you deep strike you mishap if you don't hit or lightning storm where all flyers get hit with bs1 d6 strength 9 ap2 hits. If the list isn't balanced you stand a good chance of losing a mission.

Bloodthirster fall into this area as well rogue trader is small 2nd edition is bigger, new one is a monster. Can't wait to see new one next to An'ggrath for size comparison

Finished 2-3. Could have went 3-2 but had fun in game 5 and we lined up a stompa and An'ggrath across from each other. The winner of that combat was going to win the game. anggrath got the D in round 2 after only penetrating 6 times in 14 attacks which is on average.

Can't wait to see what the 40k rules will be

Interceptor says the unit must arrive from reserve. The unit arrived from reserve they are just normally protected by the transport. Destroy the transport the unit now is a valid target.

I could order like 2 dozen qualifying orders then just return the stuff to a GW store. All the entries none of the cost.

I agree I would gladly drop 20 khorne dogs down but I don't have the time to get them painted. I will take my chance of people shooting anngrath over the crushers. I will go with the grimnoire on the herald to get the the 3+ inv on the crushers

It doesn't have to be all khorne but if I wanted to win I would play eldar. All one God is cool and makes me happy. I don't own any hounds so they are a no go. I just remember taking out 10 hounds with a squad of grots in January 2014. Sure I got lucky with shots but they still died. I like killing what I swing at. So crushers are a better fit for me. Skull takers killing blow removes no eternal warrior multi wound big guys. I have good luck with him. I just see this list winning 3 games out of 5 and I took all khorne and didn't have to rely on bulldookie to win. Plus it is simple and I can drink a lot and still play. The other option is kill a squad of crushers and skull taker and add a thirster.
