If you have a lot of cheap black or white paint, you can try that. Just make sure you completely cover it. Glue works too if your goal is to spray on primer.

Marines are gone. Still have Ahriman and Wolfy McWolfenstein. Sisters are in the air as I am talking with GW about them currently. There was an issue with one of the frames so I need to get that resolved.

I believe this is the case. However the timeline on when they release army specific battletomes is the big question. AND, on top of that, they are going to reissue the indexes every so often like the generals handbook for AoS. The idea is that they publish cheaper, more frequent versions so that everything is balanced (according to GW that is).

Looks like there were some issues with the cards and the sisters of silence kit. Just emailed GW Customer service to find out what to do about that. The marines and the special characters appear in great shape so those are okay. May be a bit before the sisters would be available for trade.

I vow to complete three (3) large ships from Firestorm Armada: 1x Sorylian Battle ship, 2x Battle cruisers Marine is there for scale and will not be part of the challenge.

8th edition orks and all models should top out at a 6+ save. Not a good save but you at least get one now. This will really only matter if they start throwing around the 8th edition D strength weapons (no saves of any kind).

I've got a question for May's challenge. I have some Firestorm Armada figs to paint. Would you consider any of the larger models to match "3 large models" or would they be a vehicle model? Specifically, I have a battleship which is like 5 1/2 inches long but isn't very wide so would, volume wise, technically be smaller than a standard 28mm vehicle. Would I need two other large ships or would the battleship count as a vehicle sized model?

Vow completed FYI, I actually lost the little nub part of the lastalon so I only have the lascannon barrel.

I like that this, probably more than most of the others, tells a story in its pose. You can see that he is definitely manipulating his environment and I think it works. Also they did a good job at making him look like a person in a suit of armor instead of the other way around. So like 30k Guilliman (who looks rather smallish in his huge set of armor), he seems more real.
