So after reading the rules, I don't see anything that prohibits the rhinos from moving, even with the second part of the sentence. However I see where WestRider is talking about when they say that infantry is implied. The whole paragraph is written as if it was talking about infantry that isn't on a bike or isn't using a jump pack. So RAW says yes. RAI may be different. But like I said, usually they say what can or cannot participate and here it clearly says units, not "infantry" or "non-infantry".

It's upsetting because it was only 2 years since the last one. I don't mind new editions as long as you have a good amount of time to use them. 4 years is frequent enough for me, not 2 years.

I'm more upset at having to "buy" a new rulebook yet again. Some are saying it will be "free" but I'm pretty sure they are just going to digital only for purchase and then selling limited edition physical copies.

I'd have to read the full rules but a straight up move does not mean it is a run move or otherwise; it's just a move. Usually (emphasis here) they tell you which units cannot participate. So, for instance, they will say "All non-vehicle units" or "All infantry units" which limits what can participate. If there is no unit specific wording that tells you who benefits, then all units in the formation benefit regardless of type

Think I'm going to make a count as for the Fallen formation and Cypher. Make them Knights of blood (or whatever that excommunicated BA successor was) and give 5 of them plasma guns. Infiltrating plasma-teers would work wonderfully with my drop podding meltacide squads and infiltrating scouts.

3++ save is nice. I imagine his price point is almost on par with a knight since GW likes to do that crap.

A lot of noise in the internet is saying these stats are fake. They site that none of the special rules seem primarch worthy (FW for comparison) and they mirror pretty much Marneus Calgar except for his stats. The stats being a copy/paste from 30k incidentally. They also indicate that if you look at deamon magnus, he basically has almost all the same rules as FW so they also site this as an indicator. Third nail is that it comes from someone on facebook with no history of every giving rumors or leaks.

They are all poop and you should give them all to me so I can dispose of them . Seriously, not much critique I can give on these. Your weapon glows are good but to me they are a bit too diffuse in a couple of places. But that's really minor and nothing too obvious or troublesome. They are all fantastic! Even your conversion work is amazing.

I don't advocate for one points limit vs another. 1500 is fun. I like 1500 points. But not all armies work best here. But I will let you know from my perspective to see if it helps with decisions. If you want my opinion, I'd say anywhere between 1650 to 1850. This allows a good price range to showcase the "best" your army can field. 2-3 showcase units and whatever else you want to try out for fun. For me, its Lost Brotherhood Strike force and maybe an Orbital insertion force. This also is about where you can squeeze in our type of decurion using bare minimum squad size. Just my 2 cents. BA are in a weird spot for a marine army so we suffer a bit at 1500. We don't get nearly the free rules other marines do so we end up having to play for other reasons than to win.
