  1. I can't give an official ruling but I personally have no problem with going by unit frontage regardless of base size or number of models. Most of my undead are mounted 4 to a 40mm square base, and I'll be using some diorama fillers as well.
  2. We should do a release event at Guardian some time in August. Maybe the 15th?
  3. I guess I'd better get my undead painted, then.
  4. I'm curious to know how many Kings of War players (or people interested in playing the rules with their WFB armies) are on the board. I've a half-painted Undead army that might be looking for skulls to crush.
  5. Cool, I look forward to a battle report.
  6. I can make it around 6 to WOW, or at Red Castle.
  7. Turns out I have just about 1500 points of undead. What time do you guys usually play?
  8. Can you give a quick rundown on the faction play styles?
  9. I'm going to keep an eye on this. Deadzone is pretty intriguing, but I don't know if I can fit yet another game into my life.
  10. Yeah, I think I'll throw my lot in with the rebels first.
  11. Can't decide: do I collect Rebel or Imperial first?
  12. I'm interested in the cryx, depending on what you have and what you want for it.
  13. I wonder if the movement wiggle is deliberate, to allow for more flexibility in movement compared to X-wing. Haven't played yet, so I don't know how much wiggle there is.
  14. Gabe has enough models that he can usually spare an army for demos.
  15. Game Matrix in Tacoma is the closest :( Of course, if we get a strong enough player base, we can probably convince Guardian to carry some.
  16. Come to the game day at guardian on the 28th at noon to 5 and you'll be able to meet a few of us.
  17. Game night... at Guardian? Ordo? (I thought Ordo game night was Tuesdays)
  18. Not yet! We do have some folks interested in Hail Caesar (spiritual descendant of Warmaster), but I don't think any of us have large enough armies to have a proper game of it yet. A couple guys play Piquet, which can do the large battle stuff, but I think they're pretty well focused on the horse and musket period.
  19. The monthly get together for historical wargames at Guardian Games will be on Saturday, March 28, from 12pm to 5pm. We'll have four tables available (more if they're not crowded) and probably have SAGA, Sails of Glory, Commands and Colors, and whatever else people bring.
  20. Just downloading War Thunder now. Hope it's an improvement, not that I play WoT much these days.
  21. Just checked at GG. They have a few starters but they're tucked away near the X-wing stuff.
  22. I believe Guardian has a few starter boxes. Been a while since I saw them, though - call and ask.
  23. I can't believe nobody's posted this yet. Spartan Games to produce HALO space, ground wargames. Aside from that press release, there's an interview on Meeples and Miniatures with the head of Spartan Games where he talks about it a bit (as well as their new kickstarter).
  24. You might also try the P3 yellows. They tend to be a little more consistent. You'll still definitely want to undercoat with a brown or yellow-brown though.
  25. February's Historical Games Day will be at Guardian Games on Sunday, February 22nd, at 12pm. (Due to events & Valentine's Day, all the Saturdays are full up...) We'll have some SAGA, as usual and I'll bring Sails of Glory to try out for some good old-fashioned tall ship action. While most of the tables are going to be back in the bar, we'll have one or two available in the general area for under-21s.
