    Yes, it is a shame as Enfilade is always Memorial Day weekend. Maybe we'll get a nationals at Enfilade in the future instead of always in the bay area.

    Answer is yes and the space is reserved within the convention area. The details are being worked out and will be finalized around Christmas.

    Does that mean you are coming down? If so, email your list to me pdxwar@gmail.com so it can be verified prior to tournament and to make sure we have axis/allies/tables set up correctly. A picture of your army list written on a napkin will work as long as it is correct.

    update: Of the people who have signed up, only two people have yet to submit their lists to be verified. Thanks to those that worked hard to get theirs in. After the tournament, I'll post a link to each of the lists on a frozen URL on the forces site.

    official answer: Yes. we'll push it back a week. We have room for some additional players so keep trying to get them in. fyi. For list validation, when a list is emailed to me at pdxwar@gmail.com I put the list into the BF online forces list builder, see if the list is correct, if not, I get out the paper copy of the book and find out why. and then email confirmation back to you with a private link to the list. For those of you that also use the list builder I check that the pdf/link you provide me looks good and email back a confirmation within 24hrs.

    In the past I used Army Painter, Model Expo, Artist Loft (lots of these), Armory, and IMEX. I switched to using "da Vinci" brushes a couple years ago that I ordered from Michigan Toy Soldier. (also good for other stuff too). "da Vinci" was my substitute when I was not able to get series 7 Windsors when I heard good things about Windsor but they work as well and the Mich Toy guys said they were similar. A few months back though I wandered into a Dick Blick store and will be buying my brushes from here from now on. They have my "da Vinci' brushes, a cheaper "Blick" store brand also. I have been using then both and love them; They also have several Windsor series but since they cost more I passed on them. The brushes are the ones that cost $6-24 apiece but keep their point for a long time when taken care of. One can get coupons for Blick which makes them worth it in my opinion. I have been using the size 2,3,4,5 round and size 2,3 flat on 28mm and 15mm figures with Vallejo paint and oil paints. It took me years to get to the point of going out on a limb and purchasing the higher quality brushes but once I did I have been using them ever since.
