Getting some models primed, hating the tiny hairs and fibers that are invisible until the model has primer on it. Quiet rage is growing inside me.

The skill doesn't exclude it, but sadly multi-HMG and HMRC have non-lootable. :( Oddly enough, you also can't loot a nanopulser.

This week I'm itching for a game, also probably going with no TAG.

Both beasts are assembled and ready to come give some hugs.

Assembled a Kerail Preceptor and one of his beasts, hoping to get the other one together after work tomorrow.

Finally watched Logan. Solid 8/10, though it would be great to see this kind of movie done about a character who isn't Wolverine.

It has to be deployed. They are placed just as mines for all intents and purposes, but are S1 and don't have a camo state. The only reason they are listed by the name is that they are technically equipment and not weapons.

No painting progress, but I ordered a few mini's and my bases. Looking forward to working on everything in the coming weeks.

So I recently picked up some Tohaa as a army, and it got me wondering why and how you all pick what faction you want to play. For me it varies. I picked MO in the beginning because I thought the idea of closing in for combat was fun (turns out MO isn't even that great of a CC army), then QK and Ariadna because I wanted something that was tactically different than Pano. This time it's all about visuals and painting. Tohaa are very unique-looking in the infinity world and the more i looked at them the more I got into the aesthetic. So, how do you all pick?

Well, if you want to get technical it's a hair tie on a champagne cork The shape is a little more comfortable to hold than a standard cork, just cut it halfway down and then slide the tie or rubber band to the to pro secure models. So far it's worked like a charm.

The brown on the Kaeltar body might need to be darkened to make a little more contrast, but I'm super happy with the colors and the jacket.

I got a huge discount on the Tohaa army pack at Fate and Fury, so I decided to pick it up and get started on a new army for 2018. I don't even have them all assembled, but I picked up some new paints and got a few test models started. Unfortunately, my phone isn't in the mood to take decent pictures today, but I got some okay pics. The army is going to be desert wildlife themed, and for once I'll be ordering resin bases to match rather than doing them myself. I look forward to getting some more work done and then bringing them out for a test run!

I just got back from 1100 miles of driving over 3 days, so I'm gonna crash at home with the GF and have a quiet NYE. Still, I hope you guys have an amazing time and I will see you all soon!
