I'm looking for either a box of current Chaos Warriors, current Chaos Lord on Daemonic Mount (? The Frazette homage) or what the hell a Forgeworld Imperial Knight. Just a stock, assembled wagon:

One mechanic I read (somewhere?) was that you draw 3 cards as normal, but you must choose the one you are going have active (intend to complete), you then discard the other two. Next turn, same deal. That way you can never complete more cards than game length, and it keeps the secondary objective relevant. I'd love to try this method out if anyone would like. For a further variation, you can't draw any more cards until you complete your active mission.

I'd like to thank the Senators for all their exceptionally hard work to put this together. I got to help with setup and peek a bit behind the curtain. The stresses of dealing with the not fun things that had to get ironed out even before the event started, never mind the same day work that is completely inglorious really made me appreciate the pressure they were under to make sure the event went smoothly. If they can do this well despite the challenges set before them, I really look forward to next year. Thank you gentlemen, you have my respect. Burk, it's not done yet, alright. Sheesh.

I totally forgot about the nearby Chipolte and Muchas Gracias. All this stuff is about 5-6 blocks NW of the hotel, but then so is everything else. Now if you have lots of time you can hop on the MAX (no longer free) and go to the downtown food carts. KMZ updated.

You can't swing a dead cat in this town without hitting a brewpub. It'd be easier to google that. Nothing withing easy walking distance though. Food carts in this area of town are slim as well. Keep in mind that there is a metric ton of stuff with a 5 minute car ride though... Forgot to note the Safeway:

Didn't know I could take a Lance knight as my Warlord. I'd rather go with 3 knights and more boots. I could add Tauroxes and Valks to taste. Or retune for 1500pts. Or rejigger for AM Allies, I could still take deep striking Scions with Veterans as the Allies troop choices.

Goin for a noble knights with their loyal retainers vibe, like Bretonians. Using Scion torsos and arms as the filigree matches that on the knights.

I think so, I'm assuming best case. Otherwise I'd drop the lance ( sadface) and just have Scions as allies.I know I could flip it around and have the Scions as my primary and still get the lance and a knight as a LoW, but I'm not sure who could be the warlord (I want the Paladin)

That is the Cinema/Mall parking. And they do tow. I used to work in the office building kiity-corner from the lot. Folks would use the lot for parking and jump on the Max, security would be right behind them writing tickets. If you are there during "shopping" hours do what I used to, park in the lot close to the mall, make like you are going in the mall, (cross the street, etc) then be inconspicous on your way to the hotel. For any late night stuff I'd park in a garage. The park doesn't foster a very high class of person. I missed a drive by shooting by about an hour.

I figure I'll Deep Strike them to hit their intended targets faster. Plus it's an even 1850. I wouldn't mind adding Tauroxes, just trying to keep my force from getting out of hand.

I'm also thinking Knights and Household troops (Scions) mainly because I want to keep my small guy painting to a minimum. To be honest I'll most likely build this as my slow grow force, but I'd prefer to do this once.
