Does anyone know if we need to submit lists beforehand or just bring them to the tourney?

Nexus Games in Gresham has a 40K night on Wednesdays from 4-ish till late....(also can find games on Saturdays and Tuesdays)

Is there a special night this takes place on? How are game battles set up between players? Do we sign up at the shop?

I usually drill a small hole in one of the feet/leg and glue in a small wire. That way I can put them on cork stoppers to hold and paint. However...if you are doing a whole mess of skeletons I would recommend finding the wall poster strips (usually looks like thick tape) and a paint stir stick. That way you can do multiple models on one stick. Or blue tack also works....

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I am on their list and have a post there too. Mostly its Warmahordes there on Tuesdays but I dont want to head out there if there are no 40K players.

So a good go to is the Minitaire airbrush paint. You will have major issues if you use craft paint. The thinning down process is a lot of work. However, if you do go that route I recommend thinning with Windex. Also beware that craft paint will clog more easily in your airbrush (speaking from experience). Having a sonic cleaner will help between uses.

I sure hope they add a "Dukes of Hazard" role to dedicated transports. I want to see a Rhino fly!

Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance has released today for iOS. (think Plants vs. Zombies only with Storm Bolters). And of course in typical GW fashion it starts at $4.99 with in app purchases...because of course that's why. I will have to say that the graphics are nice looking and the game play is solid and fun. But for 4.99....sigh....

Howdy All, I am new to playing 40K but not new to the painting aspect of this game. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations on where to learn to play 40K? I have an army (Ultramarines), I have watched many batreps (so I am not completely unfamiliar with the game) but I need somewhere that I can play against players that dont mind teaching the game. Thoughts? (I am in outer East PDX if that matters).
