hey bud! yup see this post: http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/27902-beerfinity-monday-418-at-guardian-games/#entry342474 but yea im going to make an announcement on monday as well about starting the ITS escalation league which will be smaller games at first and end at 300! a typical game is generally 300 points but people can throw together lists for smaller amounts if you want to play something lighter(i would be more than happy to do that for ya!). i should have an ACTUAL full table of terrain as well by monday if i can get my gluing in gear! btw your armies look gorgeous... and was happy to see the gecko in action! im hoping next time i can be the odd man out so i can watch and assist more with rules...

Deadpool 9 god I missed Ryan Reynolds. Talk about just a hilarious movie. Even compared Iowa state fair to cancer which I was dying and people were staring at me cause obviously they didn't get the reference Hateful 8. I'd give it 7. It was standard Tarantino which I love but it really started too slow even for his stereotypical building to climax. Also no actor really blew me away for once and the hitting the girl a ton and needless use of the N word kinda gets tireless. I get it the time period but man it's like he wants to use the word as much as humanly possible which is why it's a bit obnoxious.

first off, ive never been a real fan of the baggage combi TR bot. its just such a sad face in comparison to the hmg bot hahaha. no b4, very easily manipulated short range bands and also no 360 visor just really isnt worth the 21 points unless you are really utilizing that baggage(like quadrant control and you have a ton of panzerfausts.. which is possible with nomads but i see it being playable maybe with a magister knight link). if you are going to keep it id actually move that to the 2nd group and bring the dak in the first as you wont be spending its order anyways while you might want to put orders into the daktari pending on situation. second, that sputnik will be golden but i can see it being tough to use when you first start with it. kinda like my guarda de assalto ive still yet to really figure out wth im doing with it. third, you are playing a new link team i see!!! that in itself takes some lumps lol. here's a small twist on your list(very few changes...). add your favorite bot back into the action and drop the spitfire. number 2 isnt as important as making your Lt less obvious so id change that. hellcat i just made a specialist cause specialists. although i DEFINITELY would be fine about a shotgun, thats just being nit picky of me pending on your scenerio those are awesome for objectives. bandits might need some order pumping so consider moving one into the first group if you see it has a good thing it could do... i can do 5. that would give me time to go to that amazeballs ethiopian place next to PGS as well and we probably wouldnt fight as much traffic on way home :) but i can do as early as 15:45 really(dont think it would take me more than 15 minutes from work...).

possibly at GG at usual time of beerfinity if ya feel like it. i cant do before 330 and honestly if we started a game then... you'd be fighting i5 hell back to the couv which im sure you would not enjoy haha. i do work near-ish to PGS though if you did feel like doing a game at 345 there though!

damn that is a good streak! the one loss to joe at the event right? i was hot for a while but been cooling off lately. playing the same list though the past 5 times has been kinda fun. nagas have been tripping over their own legs lately... which is good cause its taught me how to not rely on them haha

i know Naked Panda has been raging about how fun this game is. i really want to play but of course have nothing to offer but my soul im out of pdx though

aidan in seattle. he use to do it with tom and ricky when whfb wasnt completely [big bad swear word] on by GW. unfortunately im pretty sure its dead as aidan i think lost interest. i believe they are super into malifaux now though. KoW is surprisingly just not having a bunch of followers here in the PNW. elsewhere they are having 30+ people at tournaments... so weird

and im not even on that list :P

curious what was the list you used and what was your breakdown in thoughts of the game? things you didnt feel comfortable with in your list, things your opponent did that threw you off, etc. i dont think going out of your comfort zone is a bad thing, but when you do you shouldnt expect to do well haha. last time i played against nate he brought a list he always brings and i brought a completely new and weirder aleph list. also brought pheonix as an obvious Lt for first time which... was not a good idea lol. first time i think ever i was beat after top of turn 1 lol. so yea curious on your in depth thoughts, maybe i can give some suggestions. i do think infiltrating support from something like a moran or spektr will really help you out. i know you use to play the infiltrating spektr a whiel back

for sure just come to beerfinity and i can get you some flamestrike! also i will be starting an escalation league beginning of May when HSN3 drops... ill announce that at next game night on the 18th! i will be keeping it to biweekly though i think so people can go to other game nights during off weeks(also my free time is kinda limited now..) . make sure to check out the missions and build a list for one! ive been playing the sagres one quite a bit lately, but the jungle terrain one will be harsh(see terrain rules).

You know the saying.. but really it comes down to the books and having a strategy and strong deployment. If you recall nate kapke deployment style he has insane synergy. Trying to find things that works well together and then countering your opponent deployment and strategy is super important. Np and I have talked a bit and a lot of his strategy comes from predicting what his opponent will do. If your opponent catches you with your pants down it's hard to back pedal but instead of panic just learn from the situation and think of a way to prevent it next time. In the meantime think of a plan b,c,d,e immediatelyand work them out as efficiently as possible. Many times dice have frustrated me but having a trick up my sleeve has changed the tide. Just keep studynging. It's no tyour list it's finding how to synergize your plan and thwart your enemy plan.what really can separate you is using your opponent plan to your advantage...

Really? I've pretty much knocked off every single one of the antennas on my acon guys. not sure I even have desire toner attach lol. Ugh should have just stuck to the better ai design :p
