  1. Excellent Brendan. Does 2:30PM or so Thursday work for you?
  2. The Codex Machina supports this action. (Yes) Unfortunate thing: I’ve been switched to night shift at work, so my playing hours are going to be a bit restricted to about 2:30-5:50PM. I still want to participate in the campaign as much as I can, so if anybody is free for any day around that time I’d be grateful for a game. If you’re full on games there’s always the option of founding an alternate warband if so inclined.
  3. Cannot make it for my TNT quota. If anyone would like to get some makeup games in this weekend I’d be down.
  4. On that note, could such industrious individuals build a secondary warband if their primary warband is 'capped' for the week, or do we want to keep a 1:1 man to warband ratio?
  5. I have overtime today so can’t get into the shop until 7:30-8:00. Can a fellow TnTer spot me the main mission again after theirs is over around that time?
  6. Who you calling filthy, you damn dirty apes? (yes though)
  7. So, clearing up the new advancement: -It looks like random for character creation as well, correct? -So you pick the skillset you want to roll for, roll 2d10 and consult the table. If you get doubles I'm assuming you get what you get without choosing from two skills.
  8. Ended up picking up the PDF expansion. Not a fan of non-physical books but I'd like to support this TNT venture more. Could print it too I suppose. I think the Washington State Troops will spend some time consolidating territory before being stretched too thin, and also hopefully make peace deals with the more amenable factions they came to blows with in the Southern Exodus Expansion. +++ "That said... Innsmouth, Cults, Mutants? There is a high probability of lost tech being pilfered by these unworthies, and an even higher probability of their misuse of these sanctified artifacts. I humbly suggest our full complement, Lord Reclaimer. They are free to give up their lives if they will not give up their holy relics." - Tech-Bearer Josaiah Cripley to Lord Reclaimer Maximus Devron, prior to the Merciful Crusade for the Betterment of Mankind. +++ Jake Preservers/Renegade Reclaimers Knights Machina or The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Maximus and of the Order of St. Horowitz #8
  9. I think a campaign would be best for getting more people to play, so going forward with that has my vote. I suppose we are not at odds Brendan, in that I would like more model longevity. I was thinking after a campaign to draw people in, having a longterm campaign where people can commit a game in freely monthly could extend the life of warbands or create new ones. A territory control type of scenario could work well for that. As for models, I think the best bet would be picking up a box of Fantasy/Sigmar lads and borrowing bits from others for weapon options. This guy has many of the extended warbands, although some campaign managers may want to limit the warbands to the stock originals: http://home.deds.nl/~mordheim/MordheimRulebook.pdf
  10. I could see an ongoing drop-in league working pretty well. For me at least. I'm not sure if I could commit to a campaign now though.
  11. Looking forward to a game of 9th with Jim.
  12. Might go well with some Samurai Elves facing down the dawn of a new era:
  13. Yeah let's plan on that. I'd be interested in your perspective on the new Warrior boys, and you can poke holes in my Elf list. I'll be bringing X-wing down this week.
  14. Would like to make it. Depends on how this upcoming job shakes out. If its more of an April start I can probably make it.
  15. Would very much enjoy going. Unfortunately I might have job training at that point depending on how smooth the application process for my new work goes.
  16. I'm still in the Star Wars mood, so I'll be bringing down some X-Wing for some good old rooty-tooty-point-and-shooty. Still digesting the 2.0 T9A beta a bit.
  17. Ah, let's pretend I was using the European format. Joey: I've picked up a decent set of ships for the First Order and Resistance, so I should be set there. Might need to borrow or proxy some upgrade cards if that is alright though.
  18. Thought I'd kick this off early. Anyone up for X-Wing with a rookie?
  19. Doing some grimdark battle with Kevin tonight. I ended up finding my Arc of Visibility on ebay. Very useful tool. Edit: Had to do some defrosting of the car, so I'll be ten minutes late.
  20. Mind if I take this game? What points limit were you fielding?
  21. Yeah, I'd like to give either Wood or High Elves a go. Do they have 2.0 rules to test?
  22. I seem to have shaken off the worst of Nurgle's Gifts. Game of 40k or 9th Age anyone? Maybe even some Infinity.
  23. In a manner of speaking. The 2.0 rules are in closed beta and smash is one of the playtesters. Seems to be a fully playable game, but points costs and unit viability need to be hammered out.
  24. Unfortunately, looks as if this one has been scrapped. The buy in at $170 for the starter seemed a bit high for the quality. A starter set, especially one done through crowdfunding, should be a loss leader.
