I am all about performance enhancers, but not paying someone to make a fancy paint that does all the painting for me 😉

Question about airbrushing....

Can we have an airbrush all setup and our tank pressurized before we start? Or do we need to eat the prep time?

I'm pretty unlikely to bring an airbrush, but I was considering bringing it if I did 90% airbrushing only.

I am always happy to meet you at WoW, or another game store for an intro game. We could do a very small scale if you would like, but T9A plays a lot like WHFB, and even still plays very similar to 40k. Despite all the revisions to the game, it is still 80-90% the same as 8th edition. 

If you are interested in a game, post out here, or in our meetup thread. Id be happy to throw some hordes of skinks at you and teach you the game.

Slow progress on the Kings Guard. 4 lazy applications of dry brushing. Not sure if I should wash the models to make the details all pop, or just rely on careful layering for that.

Need a place to add blue as well, since that is the unifying color. Shoulder pads seem like a reasonable spot!

I may have an enthusiast show up to watch/get a learning game in. He apparently has never played, but he wears a chaos symbol pendant, so suffice to say he is into the lore.

Others may jump in last minute, but I imagine many people are heading out of town for the long weekend.

For the fiscal year of 2016/17, these are the current tax rates in the UK:

• The basic rate is 20%, for all sorts of income up to 32,000 GBP per year.
• The higher tax rate of 40% applies to income from 32,001 GBP to 150,000 GBP a year.
• Income above the 150,000 GBP limit is taxed with the additional rate of 45%.

A marginal tax rate of 40% over 32,000 GBP (40,600 USD) is pretty bloody high! The US for the same amount of money is 22%. Sure we also have state tax, but that is still well shy of 40%.

The UK does get socialized health care, which I guess they dont pay extra for? So, if we look at the full cost, we might be about equal.

But, your main point is still valid. We just like serving a King of our own choosing ;D

This is my project. 15 Kings guard and 15 + 5 to be built deep watch. Once I finish these two units I’ll be about 90% painted.

Dont stress it! I mean, we would love to see your minis painted, but nobody will be turned away for having unpainted stuff.

I dont think I have ever fielded a fully painted army. There is always black primed stuff that I forget/ignore.
