I am that way with orks and hopefully soon with my Dark Angels and now the DE... DE just have such a varried play style that I dont think I will get bored with them... it does mean my 3d printer is going to get a lot of work 😛

I liked that one as well! Its fun and interesting and makes me want more Reavers. Did you know they removed the restriction for Reavers on who gets the sepcial weapons so now the Arena Champ can have heat lances as well

For the Paints, I brushed on everything but the wings which I would likely go over with brush. I airbrushed the wings Hellions... Oh my sweet Green Goblins... I loved them from 5th but never jumped in (couldnt afford DE back then), now we have the codex of choices that while might not have a ton of choices like Marines but Marines are bogged down by X or Y being better than Z and the DE codex might have that but its not a HUGE deal.

Why GW... why did you have to make this Codex so interesting to build with. Bit of a back story, I HAD planned on getting the piety and pain box to give the Drukhari to Pete but... GW was smart and they turned this Codex into a "Build Your Own Adventure" codex. So compared to marines it has more unit viability across the Codex and there is no real "Right way" to play the codex... Want Wracks and Grotesques with Acid Flamers that just advance up the table and spew liquid death, go for it. Want little Green Goblin-esque guys flying around taking heads off then charging in? Sure. So sadly I have been drawn in with this Goosebumps style codex of fun and shenanigans ... For my design, I am using a lot of Turbo Dork paints. On this test Hellion, we have People Eater Purple on the board, Nightmare Emerald for the Green and the yellowish color is Electrum.

I will be up for a game of 40k. Can do up to 2k but would like to test out my Spikey Space Elves the Drukhari at about 1k

40k for me but I have an opponent

One of my Inceptor models broke off during the game which is why one is missing... My army is "battle ready" but no where near done. Next week is 1500 pts of Ravenwing!

I am looking for a Land Speeder Vengeance for my Ravenwing. I can trade models (I have necrons, orks, deathguard) I can 3d print Bitz for most things I have cash as well

So I moved into a new apartment right before Christmas and a month later after some generous donations from friends for a table I have been finally able to set up said table to do 40k games. Found some Ork terrain I like and have been 3d printing them in Resin...because I hate money. Learned a few things about this. Got to set the doors up for these BEFORE curing the wide frames. That or I print them in Water Washable resin so there is less rigidity in the clamps. This is 13" or so wide... once I add a few layers it will be a "Ruin" and thus obscuring. I am liking the modularity of this set... One day I hope I can invite people over to play.

I will have to check their space marine section as the last time I checked a month or so back it was still out of date.
