So I'm probably going to get back into 40k, against my better judgement (I need a little bit of a break from Infinity for a bit, need something a bit more beer-and-pretzels for a while) and Kill Team seems like a good way to do that. I have a plan for how I'd like to go about it all, but without an actual league I could play in on a regular, reliable basis, I don't want to shell out the money for it. A couple of the FLGSs I hang out at are running the leagues, but they're on nights I'm unavailable, damn their eyes. Are there any plans for Ordo to be running such a thing? I'd imagine it'd be after OFCC, which would give me time to build up my team anyway, but it'd be nice to play if I can find a reliable place to do so.

Normally I'd be down, but I gotta get my stuff painted for OFCC. It's slightly cooler today, so I want to take advantage of that (my painting space is upstairs in a non-AC room.)

I should be there. Hoping to try out my OFCC list.

I'm also going to shoot for this one, if scheduling allows.

Eh... if you get the full deal, TAK gets the Wardriver and ALEPH gets Dart... so, y'know, not really all that bad.

Have you seen the new dossiers that dropped today? You have to start playing ALEPH now. They're releasing a remote with a MULTI rifle called a Rudra. It's pretty clear that it's now your destiny.

I dunno. I'm not sold on the gigantic hammer, that's a little too WarmaHordes for me. I'll have to see what the profile brings. The rest of the Kazak models are gorgeous, though.

I expect to be there as well, and I'd also like to get in some OFCC practice.

Tunguska is going to be forced into a lot of 10 order lists. I see a lot of similarities there between them and Steel Phalanx. I also expect to see them struggle against armies that don't rely heavily on hackable models, where instead they'll be forced to handle problems with gunfighting. I can see Spetsnaz HMGs really wrecking a Tunguska player's day. Now, all these new toys for vanilla Nomads are going to make them that much scarier.

New rules look good. I think there's a guy in Seattle looking to come down, I pointed him towards the forums.

If we're moving to singles, are you planning on altering any of the scoring system? Showing spirit for a team we're not playing with is well and fine, but I'm not keen on spending the extra cash to get shirts & swag if I'm not on an actual team.

Eh. I haven't spent that much yet, I'll just see if I can get my (former) teammates to help defray the cost.
