Drak
make the 4 fell bats two units of 2.
HeroZero
Sure why not, what's your thoughts on this revision?
Drak
it's good representation of what VC can bring to the table. your core block size it right now to allow for 2-3 rounds of sustained combat which is crucial. plenty of drops to the match ups you'll want for you knights. I'm not sure about the sword of striking on the GK, it's different but I wouldn't say chuck it. overall I think this list will play for the type of game you want at OFCC, fun with lots I elements but not something that wouldn't be fun to play against (ie too hard or roll over easy) . keep us posted on its performance on the battlefield! Raindog
I like the list it has a nice array of tools. Well done.
HeroZero
@Drak Thanks, the Sword of Striking is to even out my.my abysmal luck. It's still got some minor tweaks here and there I need to make but overall I am satisfied. @Raindog thank you.
MexicanNinja
Nice list, that looks like a fun one. To both play against and play with. I agree with the 2 units of 2 fell bats. It provides to units of chaff over one and two targets your opponent has to deal with over one. The unit of 4 should crumble after the first round of most combats. HeroZero
@ mexicanninja: thanks. What do people think of me turning the WK into a baby vamp, Lvl 2 and dropping the necromancer? That way the skeletons become a pretty angry threat.
Drak
adds more of a competitiveness to the bk unit but also fairly cookie cutter (for obvious reasons... ion) I like the wk for theme purposes more
HeroZero
The WK.is o foot, so would the vamp be. Neither are in the BK unit.
Drak
duh! should have caught that. my opinion is still stay with the wk and necro combo. fewer eggs in one basket. vamp heros are nice but with t4 and 2 wounds they tend to die quickly unless you're building them for defense and then you might as well have stayed with a wk. plus a wk in the skellies unit looks good. HeroZero
That's what I am thinking, aesthetically the WK in the Skeletons also makes more sense. WK are really under rated t5 and 3 wounds for under 100 points is great.
