Yarbicus
Local game store is starting a "slow grow" league next week and it is perfect chance for me to get back into the game. I have been working on lists and painting figs when I had a realization: all of my Space Marines are from 6th ed or earlier. I need to put them all on larger bases. D'oh! Question: are scouts also on 32mm bases now?
WestRider
Scouts are still on 25mm bases, so those at least, you don't have to worry about.
pretre
I haven't moved my space marines to 32mm yet.
Brick Bungalow
There is probably an easy solution for simple bases whereby you you just orient the current base on a 32mm disc and base around it. Highly decorative bases (which everyone should aspire to) would be a real pain.
Psilence
If you're re basing because you want to I say go crazy :) If you're doing it because you 'have to' I wouldn't worry about it. I have no plans to rebase my old armies, unless I get frisky and go for the fancy schmancy GW factorum (or what ever) ones, because they're cool :)

For Models that don't have a slot through the base, it's pretty easy to cut away the sides and just glue it down on the larger base, and then touch up with your previous basing materials. For those that do, there are adapters available. I like these ones, myself. They're the only ones I've seen that also incorporate the slight bump in height that the 32mm have over the 25mm.
