WestRider
That's something I've been saying since this was first announced. This is a movie where one of the main characters is a talking raccoon with a machine gun. Named Rocket. If you have a problem with that, you're going to have a lot of problems with the movie. If you think that sounds awesome, you're probably going to have a good time.
Torg
I saw the movie for the 2nd time last night - still love it. I couldn't help but think…that the movie reminds me of GMing an RPG for my typical set of players. "you want to play a talking Raccoon? …what?… a tree?… seriously a big brute that speaks with a rather large vocabulary?… ugh…." great fun!
WestRider
I can totally see that. There was a lot of stuff in there that felt sort of "RPG first adventure while the group is still getting together".
tombking
Finally saw it last night with the kid. It was just crazy fun. I think just enough character development to move the story along and a good roller coaster ride of a movie.
