"Game include rules for other daemons of tzeentch. It specifically says screamers, flamers and herald of tzeentch. Even better, page 30 of the wd gives rules to include other kind of heroes. Page 30 is not uploaded unfortunately

Edit : Concerning the other heroes, the guy who uploaded the wd said that in page 30, it is written that GW will releas a silver tower application, and with it you'll be able to BUY the rules of each plastic hero availabe in AOS."

Lady Atia

Translation :

Shard :
It's an usual talk near the camp fire, but in truth we know very little about tenebrea shard, and some even think he's a myth. It is said that he can walk between shadow like you walk from a room to another, or take the form of a shadow to escape he adversary. Can he really break a sword empty handed ? Can he stop a beating heart with one icy glare ? No one know for sure and we can only speculate about the reason this unparalleled killer is present in the tower.

Fireslayer DoomSeeker :
Abandoning the bro links to their lodge. The Doomseekers made a vow leading them a to a solitary life. One Fireslayer never thell the reason of his vow. Maybe it's an initiation, or a Rune son not succeeding his father. Some are the last survivor of a lost lodge, doing their last task for their brothers. Some return to their lodge as hero once the quest is completed, other roam the mortals kingdom to their death. Only the Doomseeker know the reasons he choose this path to defy the silver Tower !!

Darkoath Chieftain :
The heros of the silver maze are not all paragon of virtues with pure intention. Mercyless and brutal the Darkoath chieftain is a warrior looking for the chaos gods favor, trampling the weak and the coward to better advance on the path of glory ! The chieftain already beaten a bunch of rival, monstruous beast and order heroes. Now he want to challenge himself against the crasy maze of the silver tower, he's ready to risk his life and soul to get his reward from the master of this place.

Ogroid Thaumaturge :
Excluding his versatile master, no being from the silver tower is more hated and feared than the Ogroid Thaumaturge, a monster right out of a primordial nightmare. He lead the cultists and the beastmen of the silver tower during their ritual and fight. Launching the gaut summoner minions into the endless battle of the silver tower. Misfortune to the adventurers meeting the Ogroid Thaumaturge because he charge them head down like a frienzed beast, crushing under his hoof and fist heroes too slow to move out of the way and burning the rest of them with multicolor tzeench flame.

Gaunt summoner :
The terrible master of the silver tower is a demon king with phenomenal occult power. The Gaunt summoner is a god in his infernal domain, he can remodel the impossible landscape of the silver tower on a whim. Summoning or transporting monster or heroes from different realms to pit them in cruel and endless challenges. In spite of his perversity, the guant summoner is fair play, even if it's in his own deranged way. If a heroes triumph over the tower he grant them a wish. And there is little thing a this sinister sorcerer lord can't accomplish. But rare are the adventurer succeeding and most of them are lost in the impossible maze of the silver tower, serving as plaything for the owner of the place.

Retailers have just been sent this:

In 1994, Games Workshop launched a game called Warhammer Quest. Warhammer Quest is a dungeon bashing game that has proved to be immensely popular over the years and even today many people play the game. Recently there was even a Warhammer Quest computer game and the Warhammer Quest Phone App about the board game has been downloaded over a million times already!

Games Workshop is now releasing a brand new edition for this established and well known & recognised game, full with new miniatures and updated game play. This is a re-imaging of a classic game, where the heroes must battle their way through the Silver Tower to defeat the trials set by the Gaunt Summoner. It is a 2-4 player game, with a random game length depending on the table lay-out and the number of players.

The miniatures will be compatible with regular games and the rules for this will be in White Dwarf 120 (The heroes) and White Dwarf 121 (The bad guys). There will also be a special in-store launch pack with deluxe and limited edition gaming accessories! See photo & details below!

I'm also kind of excited about the possibility of Gryph Hounds becoming (if only slightly) more available. I've got a couple of 40K Conversion ideas that call for a bunch of them.

Also, every time I see the title of this thread, I think "They should get someone to work on the roof, then."

and if you use warhammer app

From thread on /tg/ taken from wd 120 leaks in foreign text and translated

Warhammer Quest Silver Tower box are only some of the rough adversaries for a part of valiant adventurers, but the games also proposes rules to add various other demonic servants of Tzeentch, from Screamers and Flamers to powerful Heralds of Tzeentch. As such, if you already posses a collection of demons of Tzeentch, or if you want to increase the difficulty of the challenge after several playthroughs, you could bolster the lines of the Gaunt Summoner's ranks with reinforcements. But be warned, o brave adventurers - these demonic adversaries will truly put you to the test, the exotic enemies are only for the most tried and true heroes.

Skaven Deathrunner

Not all residents of the Silver tower are found there by the will of its infernal tennant. It's by the command of its mysterious sponsors that the Skaven Deathrunner has come to the Silver Tower, to accomplish an assassination, without it being known who is the target of

this exceptional killer. Except the blade and the

poison, the Deathrunner uses shadow magic to appear in two locations at once. Its illusory twin seeming as real as the Deathrunner itself, but it faints as soon as one blade touches it, exposing the attacker to a counter-attach by the real assassin.

Darkoath Chieftain

The heroes that risk themselves in the impossible maze of the Silver Tower are not all pure-intentioned paragons of nobility and virtue. Pitiless and brutal, the Darkoath Chieftain is a warrior who seeks the favor of the Chaos gods, crushing the weak and the craven to better himself on the path to glory. The Darkoath Chieftain has vanquished a myriad of rivals, monsterous beasts of the Mortal Realms and heroes of Order. Currently, he wishes to test himself at the demented maze of the Silver Tower, and is ready to risk his life and soul to tear his reward from the maleficent master of this place.

Fyreslayer Doomseeker

Renouncing their brotherly [familial?] ties and their natural homestead, the Doomseekers take an unbreakable oath that drives them to a solitary life. A Fyreslayer does not reveal the reasons of oath-taking: perhaps it is an initiation rite, or the destiny of a Runeson that will not inherit his father. Some of them are survivors of a disappeared homestead, fulfilling the last wishes of their deceased brothers. Some return to their homesteads as heores once their quest is complete, others roam the Mortal Realms until their death. Only the Doomseeker knows what terrible oath has driven him to defy the dangers of the Silver Tower.

Knight-Questor

Each Stormcast Eternal was, during his mortal life, a valiant hero, before being transformed into an instrument of the will of Sigmar, clad in shining Sigmarite and gifted the power of the skies. The Knight-Questors are distinguished from these champions by the legendary nature of their exploits, and it falls to them to fulfill the most dangerous quests that can be found in the mortal realms. The God-king personally entrusts them with the task of taking down the most terrible enemies or recover the most powerful artifacts, and it is such a mission that brings the Knight-Questor to the dungeons of the Silver Tower.

Tenebrael Shard

While often spoken of in shaded corners, almost nothing is known of the Tenebrael Shard, some even considering it a myth. It is said he can walk between the shadows like a man walks from one room to another, further that he can turn into a cloud of living darkness, playing like smoke between enemy weapons. Can he really break a sword's blade with his bare hands? Can he stop a heart with one glacial stare? None know, save the Tenebrael Shard. Like all regarding this unequalled killer, one can only speculate as to the reasons that have driven him to the Silver Tower.

Mistweaver Saih

A riddle wrapped in a mystery covered by an illusion, such is the Mistweaver Saih, of none know anything. Some claim she comes from Ulgu of the haunted shadows, without presenting any proof. Who does she serve? Who are her allies? Who are her enemies? What brings her to the Silver Tower? The only certainty of those that fight alongside the Mistweaver Saih is that this enigmatic aelf is an enchanter of the highest order, magical lightening disappearing any who provoke her ire. She confounds and blinds her enemies by way of illusions displaying their hidden desires, sowing paranoia and discord, pushing her adversaries to tear themselves apart, finally turning on their own selves, while she floats peacefully on a cloud of mystical haze.

Excelsior Warpriest

A simple mortal, bringing the light of Sigmar to the darkest of places, the Excelsior Warpriest has the courage of a true hero. Both powerful warrior and ardent orator, the Excelsior Warpriest spreads the word of the God-king across the Mortal Realms, applying his flaming sermons with his scared war hammer. His light of Sigmar allows him to heal his allies or incinerate the vile manifestations of Chaos, and he can trust the presence of his Gryph-hound, a loyal and ferocious companion, who can as a final resort give its life to save that of its master. If the Warpriest has traversed the Mortal Realms to reach the Silver Tower, it is for a simple reason: far from searching the favor of the Gaunt Summoner, he has come to kill him in the name of Sigmar.

Ogroid Thaumaturge

Save for its versatile master, no being in the Silver Tower is more feared than the Ogroid Thaumaturge, a monster torn directly from a primordial nightmare. He leads the cultists and the savage beastmen of the Silver Tower, in their rituals as well as in combat, throwing the Gaunt Summoner's mortal minions in endless battles, shaking the dungeons of the Silver Tower - all for the frivolous amusement of their demonic master. Ill-fated is the adventurer that encounters this monstrous magician while turning a corridor, as he charges, head lowered like an engraged beast, his hooves and fists grinding any hero too slow to evade, and engulfing all others in the supernatural multicolored flames of Tzeentch.

Grot Scuttlings

The Grot Scuttlings are the degenerate cousins of the tribal grots, whose bodies have been warped to adapt to existence within the Silver Tower's recesses. They live in the palace-like labyrinth of the Gaunt Summoner, capturing intruders with the help of poisons and nets, and flee back to their holes as soon as the outcome of combat seems unfavorable, without ever trying to take on the (dangerous and uneatable) habitants of the Silver Tower. Given the advantage of numbers, the Grot Scuttlings could put in peril the adventurers that fall into their grasp.

How is this another way to play AoS? Unless you could take a warband into the tower? I thought this was basically Warhammer Quest, but now takes place in AoS land instead of the Old World.

Its another way to use the minis of AoS is what im mainly getting at.Yes it takes place in the new Mortal Realms, and all the miniatures that come with the board game will have warscrolls for AoS unless of course they already have them.

On another note, its been rumored that the new WQ will be releasing into dept stores next month as well, much the same way the new 40k starter set series ive seen will be(forgot the name on that one).I think this is an excellent buisness move by GW as the miniatures hobby is so obscure and nitchy? it really needs alot more exposure.I know my kids like to dabble in it now and then and my oldest is really starting to make a regular effort for the hobby building his Aelf army and painting at least a little each day:)

Computer and console gaming has been such a huge thing with youth for 25+ years now, they have really never gotten exposed to what us old timers did with our games before the digital gaming age existed.Ive seen from my boys and their friends that they really crave some "irl" gaming.Add in a hobby to the game activity and they love having that creative outlet, even if its only a couple times a month.
