generalripphook
I mean I dislike that it reveals things the players can't "see" yet. But a great table.
smashthedean
You could always just lay big sections of felt all over the map to act as a "fog of war" for wherever the party isn't or hasn't been yet.

generalripphook
Yeah but that a lot of excess work for a set map

intrizic
In the last gallery picture, isn't that model from the classic red box D&D set? nope classic D&D players handbook
JMGraham
Those buildings look like the one's by Tabletop World. Tabletop World is the most amazing producer of resin terrain on the face of the planet. They use actual stone (shaped into blocks by hand with a pair of end nippers) to get their stone brick texture. They are insane! http://www.tabletop-world.com/
JMGraham
Oh! I recognize the top of a TerranScapes tower in there, too!
intrizic
Tabletop World is the most amazing producer of resin terrain on the face of the planet. This is simply untrue. WorldSmith Industries is the most amazing producer of resin terrain on the face of the planet, it's just that the rest of the planet doesn't know this. Sherbert
There is some Hirst Art Molds in the there as well. I agree will Eli, while it looks amazing, that is a lot of money and time invested in a static board.
smashthedean
It would definitely be cooler if the sections were modular. Could have a lot of different adventures into different areas that way
generalripphook
I mean personally I am of the case where role-playing games are supposed to stimulate your imagination. Those are incredible boards, but your imagination can conjure up just as wonderful scenes.
JMGraham
It's probably a con board. Dude likely takes it to conventions and runs a fixed scenario for folks. That way, the same set up is replayed many times. Also, those dwarven forge dungeon pieces are definitely modular.
