I want it to be real (of course) ... But I'm not holding my breath on this. I had been thinking since last OFCC about a harlequin army but now I'll be in a holding pattern on it. I just wrapped up eBay purchases on items to redo my wraith wall list and my corsairs... So I'll stick with those as projects for now. But - if this breaks out to be a real deal - I'm poised to drop some cash :)

Yeah - Romans has quite a bit ... I have lots as well. About 3 sets of the original - another full few sets of the new designs - and about 20 bikers. It's gunna be grand -;). I know this news will put a hold on the rest of my eBay shopping of anything more until I see if this rumor happens. Lucky for me I just finished gathering stuff for my corsair list. :). -d

i find conflicting information on it… and if someone has the books then they could compare it. I have seen the lists which state the later books (IA:Apoc 3rd & IA:Aero) are the latest rules for what I am looking at. But I have also read at least in 2 places that state that the rules for the bomber are the same as in the IA:11 book. So - basically I would need to see both books to compare then - discounting the internet posters. Otherwise I have to assume that I would need to get the rules from those newer books. I will keep looking - thanks pax

great thanks Pax!… now it looks like I need to look at those other books I don't have "IA:apoc" "IA:aeronautica" for the most part as it looks. I wonder if the rules are different than the ones in IA:11. Anyone know for certain? -d

great - I was hoping that it would be something I already had. I am liking its stats…(a bit spendy on points) and particular roles vs. my night wing. They will make a good pair of wingmen for each other.

I just picked up the Phoenix Bomber… (some of the final parts of my corsair list are coming together ) I have AI:11 but am wondering if there are newer rules or more current rules in some other book that I need to look at. I not sure if there is some other 6th or 7th book that it was later published in which may have more current rules for it. I did pick up the FW pdf that has some rules addendum / changes for 7th (I think its for 7th) But it just shows base line changes - not the full profile of the aircraft. Anyhow, if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome. -d

I typically base color stuff (at least the bigger things) with duplocolor from most any auto parts store. BUT they typically don't take washes or anything else well - so i end up hitting things with a dull coat before I am ready to go

Ohh I lose plenty - I've played 40k for over 20 years... But I've always felt that even after a horrible set up. I can still make a game of it most of the time. Yeah I still lose - probably more than average lol. But it's having a chance that's nice. In the past with fantasy it's no lie like - yeah so you lose because you should never set up your army that way ... That basic fact of losing before a single die is tossed? That kills it for me every time... I've had bad games in 40k. I've been tabled by mid game - lost just about every way possible. I've won just about everyway as well (not as much as losses lol). But I can't seem to think I have ever lost before dies are rolled lol. (Unless it's a total mismatch). - d

OK - I have tried this 2 times before in my time playing war-games. Warhammer Fantasy Battle. I have had a skaven army over a decade ago... long time ago. I have had a Vampire counts army... about 6-8 years ago. I had purchased isle of blood (whenever that came out first) and started building a high elf army - and played that edition a couple times. It always boils down to... not liking the way the game itself plays. Mostly the (well you set up wrong...therefore you loose. I have went and saw the last Hobit move this weekend... and well lots of fantasy battle imagery has seeped into my brain. The last couple days in my spare time I have been wandering over the the GW site - looking at ... FANTASY BATTLE... I feel kinda cheap now. But I am really liking the look of those wood elves... and I am fighting the urge to purchase some... someone help me with this madness. 1) is the game the same (you set up wrong... therefore I have smashed you in 2 turns...you loose...again) game? what is different now? 2) woodelves look cool (always the first thing that draws me in)... are they any good?... forgiving somewhat? 3) should I just wait 30 days for this fever to pass? -d

who's the HOG for 40k 2015? I missed that :)

Guardian is not really the most convenient shop for me these days - maybe after I get to Wow more often it will be. But typically if I have to have a store order it… I just go online and order it myself… shipped to my PO box. But I will try to drop into nexus this weekend or next. -d

I have gotten the box set … and I have just cracked it open. I have not pulled out the mini's and started assembling anything yet. But I have been thumbing through the rules and reading material online. I am hoping to pull out some proxy mini's and try to learn to play. But with the holidays here its going to be hard to get the time till Jan. Anyhow - I am south of PDX - (hubbard) area… between Canby / Aurora and Woodburn. I'll be open to have a garage learning Infinity afternoon at some point -d

hmm last time I was in that game store in gresham (its been over a year) I think they had some infinity minis.. but again it was very limited. I may have to just play with some proxies and then order online when I know exactly what I want lol. -d

Ok - I am running full on into Infinity… loving everything so far in N3. I have my son and some nephews interested as well - Which leads to the question. Is there anywhere local to purchase mini's? I will have to check next time I am at Guardian - but I do not remember seeing them there. Anywhere else I should be going to shop?… aside from online that is. (greater Portland area). -d
