got base colors on the display board floor ( an experiment with a flexo plate made at work ). I will wrap that up tonight (MUST). I finished up basing the new items (including the flyer) and giving the new Wave Serpents and Hornets a clear coat - touching up the glossy stuff after. All ready to pack tonight as well. I will bring the army to work in the morning - hoping to get one last practice game or 2 in friday after work. -d

as of last night…11pm… I am done with the army - EXCEPT… one flyer base (needs snow). Tonight I work on the display board - :) -d

i'll just do the parking garage… one a block away isn't too bad. Can't seem to force myself to try a park and ride lol -d p.s. I am not against car pooling - (sat/sunday) I will be coming from the south side of town - (i-5 … on at wilsonville)

I will be getting the book - and seeing how I can build a harlequin leaning DE army… hoping for something decent! -d

i am nearly done with the 2 wave serpents I picked up on friday - just the turret guns are left needing detail work. I got the objectives done yesterday. I need to get to work on the display board - something I have been putting off for too long. But I have been noodling with the idea for a bit - so its just a case of pulling together the right elements. -d

I have one of those ikea cabinets… they are pretty good for the price. -d

Pretty much done - but after this weeks game night I am not liking my falcons as stand in wave serpents. Gunna pick up a couple new serpents tomorrow to paint up in the next week ;)

I need to this myself - can't remember what I have - where it is or if I sold or gave it away lol. Getting old I guess. The tool would need to have a search feature - and a quick image viewer to hunt for stuff. Maybe numbers will work. Or maybe hunt for something else :/

I stumbled on to this place yesterday... Small new shop in Sherwood. Had lots of fantasy and 40k stuff - a few tables. The owner said he had a few semi-regulars for 40k. hey - I thought you were a regular - and since I don't get down but once a year or so - sorry not to have introduced myself. - hope you were not to bored :) Thanks for the game EB! - well fought draw - Thinking I should have assaulted your warlord and let the dice fall where they may. Ahhh - next time. Sad thing for me is I saw lots of little painting issues I must attend to this week lol. Back to painting for me. I think I have a pretty good handle on 7th now - I know at least were to look for the rules! - also I know where my reading time needs to be focused. I will see what I can do to streamline my play next time I get a chance. -d

I'm looking forward to working on my Harlequin Army in this new land of "unbound" … a new DE codex full of options will be nice….maybe followed up with a DIGITAL Harlequin army codex :)… please GW? -d

- I am shocked not to find this here already. Anyhow - My army is 95% complete and I have yet to get more than one game in of 7th ed 40k. Anyone want to lead me thru what I don't know I don't know? BTW- I did not play 6th ed. -Eldar - wraithlist - 2000k looking for a game to learn on. :) -

you looking for a DM or another player… I'd like to play… - if your building a group :) Depending on how often and when your going to play. -d

lol - my current group - we have 3 GM's… we rotate between WHFRP, 3.5 straight D&D fantasy and my 3.5 take on D&D into SteamPunk land. - we only play once every 2-3 weeks - We have not looked at Pathfinder… mostly because we can get everything we want nearly free for 3.5. We have players whom play Savage worlds…and I play and GM just about anything RPG… and have the unplayed collection of games to prove it - - 5e looks nice…reviews sound nice. But moving my current group would be pretty hard. I am thinking I will probably want to round up a new group to make that leap :). My problem is that Fantasy… is probably my least fav. RPG setting lol. I don't mind playing though :) -d

its the 2nd or 3rd review of 5e that I have read… sounds like a good edition. Now just to find a group willing to make that leap. :/
