looking for a team myself as well...

Hey - I will be wanting to play ELDAR - I have been to many OFCC's in the past and I am planning to attend this year - one problem … I need a team. I am interested in joining a team… not being a team capt. I am very unexperienced with the current rules - but I am hoping to get lots of games in before OFCC. -- I can also possibly help your team paint and theme scores … -d

i'll have to look Weav… the tanks are all the old style - but troops… titans… bikes… and that stuff would probably not be a problem. I will do an inventory and post it up. -d

looks interesting… but not spending that kinda cash for the tutoring.

I have not seen Divergent… mostly because I hate the advertising for the movie… (ie. trailers that repeat the name to me 20+ times lol). it looks interesting… but the trailers annoy me… thus taint the option for me to see it first run lol. I will probably catch it sometime later on netflix or something lol. But your "discussion" makes it sound interesting guys. :)

depends on the army you want to play… I have tons of eldar… Ork and marine stuff from the early box sets. -d

saw jack reacher 2/10 (should have been called jack Retcher imo)… horrible acting - I wish a directer would make tom cruise work for it. lol. but it was a Netflix watch - i was annoyed but at least I didn't see it in the theater. -d

OK - so it looks like this is basically what I have already - which is awesome :). just the nice FAQ stuff added. - I will have to review my stuff and try to get something together to travel for a game. I have by memory a fully painted marine force (with 2 war hounds)… and a huge and un-organized Eldar force. I also have all the basics from the 3 box set versions I have of EPIC eheheh…. more marines - Orks…etc. -d

just finished the gnawing pain of Helix… my god this show sucked. We stuck with it … tried to find something to hold onto. But it just never came. I guess it is renewed for a second season… not sure why. It's udder garbage. -1000(black holes) / 4 stars -d

Ok I have been toying around with a couple list ideas since I picked up a variety of new Eldar stuff. I want to make a list that is apart from my other eldar lists - this one is entirely new - and new paint to me. I am looking for a good all around list - that I can take to game nights (tough but fun) or to events. trying to stay away from OTT too much - but as i have other more fluffy lists I am ok with this one being a strong list. ---- This is what I have so far - but I am looking for critiques as to strength - as well as adjustments. A few elements will be MUST HAVE… just because - the nuts and bolts of specific load-outs haven't been fleshed out yet. HQ --- Irillyth, Shade of Twilight ( shadow spectre phoenix lord) / or maybe a Mantle Autarch? Farseer TR --- (x2) 10 Guardian Def.-(x2 EML) w/ WS -scatter laser or star cannon… (x2) 3 Windrider sq. w/ S. Cannon FA --- Hornet Squadron (2 or 3) with Pulse Lasers (MUST HAVE) Crimson Hunter HVY ----- Wraithknight (either base - or w sun cannon) ( MUST HAVE) Warp Hunter... War walker squadron ( x3 w/ star cannon… or scatters…eml?) OK - so the must haves are the hornets and the wraith knight really want them in…. but otherwise I am toying with all bikes… or a mix or? I have no Elites at the moment and I am not sure what I would drop to get some. I want a saturation of large scary targets for my opponent - forcing them into some choice making. I also want a fairly fast and mobile force. Anyhow, comments & suggestions WELCOME! -d

1st… where are you located? 2nd - what are you looking for if we are talking trades (40k… eldar? eheh). - do these armatures include the flock? (thinking about the $ offer value… in case). -d

which…is my hope… allowing the WK to jump in and hurt the other things lol. OR visa versa… I may also plop in a warp hunter… or a wraith seer… or something else that looks dangerous -d

hmmm well good luck — I know how those side projects can suck up your time. I have been thinking about a list that will be more competitive as my time is limited to game - so event gaming typically would make up over half my games each year. I am hoping a saturation of larger and dangerous targets will really force my opponent into hard choices. Wraithkight and hornets would be the start of that kinda idea. -d

I'm curious how this list has been working out. I am in the midst of building a list that will include the hornets as well as a wraith knight. I am thinking about wraith guard - but I may go with massed bikes and guardians instead along with some flyer. -d

Saw "The Grand Budapest Hotel"… 8/10… another fun Wes Anderson flick… if you liked the others then your good :D… all the usual cast of characters - fun stuff.
