If you choose to use scatter dice, you would roll it for each stream of smoke. I would envision the wall of smoke to be 1" wide.

I wrote that mission with the scatter dice in mind, then modified it when I realized that newer players may not have even seen one before. 🙂

Fate decided what fate decides, she cannot be commanded. 🙂 Also, if you roll a 3 on turn one then fate is screwing with you (she can be fickle.) 🙂
