Justin, You may wish to have a few weapons with longer range bands. Rifles and shot guns are good for close and short ranged fire fights, but they start gathering negatives at 16+ inches. A grenade launcher, HMG, Spitfire, Missile Launcher, etc, helpful tools. You may only need one or two, but they are need to balance out inequities in fire fights.

Most people like the standard, Cold Front set since it is durable, easy to use, and tactically challenging with its variety and add ons. The new kit with just add more options to that first kit. I think several people are looking forward to his Red Veil package. There is nothing wrong with starting with the Red Veil terrain. It come down to what you envision playing on and what you appeal to you visually. The pro in buying the Red Veil set is not many others will have it at this time.

Per the Remote Presence Podcast, the print is deep and the vinyl lays flat. LoS Block has a different take on tokens and some silhouette markers/ They also make some terrain that looks right out of the planet Miranda from Serenity. The second floor on the command hub is very clever. terrain MC Studio makes silhouette friendly, easily packable and transportable terrain. Finally, Every Little War makes objective markers, facing templates, faction orders, and buildings. Adam who plays at Glimpses of Wonder and Warfare in Sherwood knows one of the guys from this company. I have used the markers and command buildings in at the store's ITS. The company is starting corridor sets great for playing on ships or playing space hulk type games.
