What should the room rates be?

Don't do betrayer, but another title would be cool. 2v2 is always fun. Have people bring 1k lists and pair them at random for their teammate and make them fight another random 2v2, but make sure to have wacky board rules and missions, like at the Harvester.

Going for a masters? Or all the way to PhD?

I went to WSU! GO COUGS! But they have the better power based EE track of the two WA colleges. I work in the utility world so a BS is all that is needed. A master's degree does little for you. The PE is where it's at. The PE allows you to have your own practice and be able to stamp drawings. I have friends who are ME and have their masters and no PE and work for Boeing. So it depends on your field as to what would be better.

Since you are in the HVAC field an ME degree would compliment that, especially since there is a PE that is based around it.

You can design anything you want in any field you want. That just comes down to your knowledge base and what you want to do. If you are asking, can you use your professional license on something outside of the scope of your license, the answer is no. My PE is in Power systems. I can only stamp drawings related to power systems. I can not stamp anything in the EE realm dealing with "electronics, controls, and communications", or "computer engineering" things. Every field has its own professional license. As far as ME goes, there are 3 different fields for PEs: Mechanical: HVAC and Refrigeration (PDF; new specifications for the 2017 exams) Mechanical: Machine Design and Materials (PDF; new specifications for the 2017 exams) Mechanical: Thermal and Fluids Systems (PDF; new specifications for the 2017 exams) You can also hold different PE licenses if you want to put in the time (assuming you have your degree, 4 years under a PE) and pass the appropriate tests. As far as an electrician goes, I believe that is an apprentice / journeyman trade and not engineering.

I can't get together a decent enough list to make it worth my time with GSC. They are over costed, have no stratagems, and without the support of AM really lack in shooting. It would be fun to attend again, I just don't feel like getting stomped for 5 rounds.

I just won a Nintendo Switch from a raffle. It looks like a fun little set up, but I haven't played a console since college. Any recommendations for games I should try; it is Nintendo, I am getting Zelda and mario kart, anything else good? Also, I have a 6 and 3 year old boys, any recommendations for them?

What is your take on non chargeable units because there is not space to fit a charging model?

There is A LOT of hate being tossed around for this FAQ. The one that gets me the most is not being able to assault units that are on lvl 2+ of ruins if you can't fit your models. Giving someone a non assault able unit is all sorts of bad juju for the game.

I am on the fence about the first turn no charging. It gives gun lines a free phase they know they won't be harassed. If you run mawlocs, they now have a chance to spread out further making them less good. I am not sure why biovores got bumped to 50 points. They were decent but not game changing.

I have a stock of magnets that I know are good. They hold the Crone wings on just fine, so I am sure they will hold an arm on just fine.

I have checked army carrier and battle foam and they don't seem to have a solution. How do you all transport your large unwieldy models?

I had a blast the year I attended. It is good times throwing dice and eating food. I don't understand the hate towards Forgeworld that LH has, but it is just another tournament rule to follow. Everyone gets to choose which pool to play in, if you don't like LH's pool, you don't have to pee in it. I would go if I could scrape together a decent GSC list, or if the Tyranid were available. Would be fun running a 7 Flyrant list.
