    How do war machines stack up in 9th age? Admittedly I have not studied it very much but in looking through the dwarf book I was struck by a feeling that thay may have been powered down a bit. Some of the options (specifically the grudge buster and copter options) seemed pretty pricey for what they appeared to have. I could easily be missing important details, so I thought I would ask how they were from experienced players point of view?

    Ugh, what is the point of gaming if you can't force people to play with super strict rules that make the game less fun?

    Agreed NtK! I was pretty inspired seeing 9th Age being played at OFCC and have started looking over the rules and army books. I think I may be finally getting over my era of depression about the state of WFB and getting ready to delve into an new and better game!

    Resurrection!!! I still haven't played too many games but that is about as good of answer as I have gotten on this one. The Gladiator seems to be the only ship that really seems to take easy advantage of the shorter range.

    I Hereby Challenge Micah to a battle to the death!!!!! Also, a game a Malifaux too!!! Can we Challenge in this event? I don't even know... but I have had so many rules arguments (for WFB) with Micah that it is time we actually play a game!!!

    Well, no I can't... but that is not the point. I have plenty of painted toys (still deciding between Outcasts and Gremlins though). It just seems to have sneaked up on me.

    Yup, well. Brewmaster can take them as a Gremlin Faction or as 10 Thunders. Otherwise any 10 Thunders master can hire them... so there you are.

    I have not heard any updated numbers yet, but if my math is correct 2 plus 2-4 paid equals... lets see.... carry the one.... carry the one back because it doesn't go there.... and um.... 5ish paid? I think I heard the number 8 as a minimum for it to happen... but honestly a 8 player $50 2 day event seems a little... off.... I like the number 20 or so better.
