    I have gotten my thanksgiving event approved for Nov 12, Barca has a tourney scheduled for Sept, so Oct would fit best.

    Yeah lately we've been playing games with army lists in preparation for upcoming tournaments. With Barca taking on some of the role of tourny organizer and a few of us also helping, we are getting more Tournaments / Game Sessions available. So As above, 1420 pts LW, then 1550 LW till Sept, then, I am still working out the details but I am trying to setup Tanksgiving in November which will be LW Tanks (non-infantry), afterward it looks like 1000 pt EW till February.

    I will be there today. I have several 1420 armies with me in case someone wants to play but doesn't have the right stuff.

    I too am going. also bring a US Para plt, somebody was looking for one. also bring what I have of Finnish, if somebody is interested in buying or trading.

    Yeah, it looks like GG Thursdays will be 1420 LW games til OFCC. Works for me cause now I know what to bring on thursdays.

    We hadn't talked about what to do a GG after enfilade. So, I am planning on bringing some kind of 1420 LW german list.

    Yes, Thanks everybody for a fun game day. I enjoyed all my games, to include the people I played against, and had plenty of fun.

    I'm iffy for tomorrow. Have to go to Lincoln City for work and don't know If I'll be back in time. Will still bring my stuff in case I do get back early enough.

    Ok, I'm shaking off the final remnants of a 10 day migrane headache. First Migrane I ever had, just nasty nasty nasty. Got this whole weekend to help on recovery and doctors armed me with a shotgun concoction of medication in case i come on the onset of another one of these. Looking to put in a game next week thursday before the event.

    So far, Ryan Mcgee / lazarus is planning to attend with US rifle company, he's just having troubles with the internet registration.

    Know what you mean about uncompleted projects. My Finns have been sitting in their box for years now, and I am still working on getting american infantry completed while collecting stuff for Russian LendLease and refining my boxes of US tanks. Along with fitting in new projects that pop up like Great War armies and Tournament prize stuff, all while still working on commission paint jobs. I have been looking at some of my painted up stuff and realizing that I may have too much and have been pondering the idea of selling some of it. I have some stuff that hasn't been on a table in years and only used once. Mostly American tank stuff and some German.

    CG can definitely do it now, would love to see some Epic panoramic tank battles such as Kursk, Nancy, or El Alemein. Maybe even some more modern say 73 Easting. Something where we can see Units of tanks maneuvering instead of a tank goes here and a tank goes there.

    I hear that, I am also working on getting projects caught up. I will never do effing jarheads, though japs look cool.

    How Airborne & Glidermen are chosen: "Do you want to jump out of an airplane?" if they answer YES, "Welcome to the Airborne!" if they answer NO, "We got another volunteer for gliders."

    I had fun play-testing them. The special characters are expensive so you have to limit yourself, but you can really customize your lists with how you want to play it. Speirs was very useful with his special rule of holding him off the table til you need him. I would wait to see where the main attack was going then plut him in there. Roe allows you to keep some of the killed from leaving the table. The 81mm mortars were my workhorse, a veteran 6 pack can hit pretty hard. The 57mm AntiTankGuns got better by getting rid of the "NO HE" rule so they can shoot at troops.

    I am planning on being at GG today. I still have a couple of lists to playtest so I can decide on what I am bringing to Enfilade.

    The painting competition I was refering to is the Enfilage Convention Painting Cotest, not the Flames of War paint judging. The Flames of War tournament is still typical FOW type, and NO I am not bringing anything as exotic as my Hungarian Underwater Demolition Company.

    I am paid in and registered through Enfilade for this tournament. I am bringing Germans. Will send you list in a couple weeks once I have tested a couple things.

    well, just looked at the rules for the painting competition, and I am NOT interested. 1. I won't be there early enough to submit. and 2. What I was planning on bringing does not fit this years Theme of 'RAID'.
