  1. I plan on showing up tomorrow. If we are ready for the next turn, I'll have my US ready. If not, I can bring some germans to help finish up the current turn. I Like this doing each turn at leisure. We are not in any rush to finish by a certain deadline, so it allows us to play all the games that everybody wants to play before moving on with dice rolls.
  2. I have my collection of 325th Glider Co. Except for paratroopers, US infantry is pretty universal in their appearance, So, a US infantry platoon can be used for either straight infantry, glider infantry, or ranger infantry. I was thinking of trying out a ranger company for this campaign but have decided to work out the 4th inf div & 2nd armor div sector instead. Also, battle report for last thursday: 2.3. Report on the battle: 2.3.1. WHO: -- List player’s names and/or avatars. ZEKE and LAZARUS -- List Attacker’s nationality and company type. US LIGHT ARMOR COMPANY -- List the Defender’s nationality and company type GERMAN PANZER GRENEDIER COMPANY -- List firestorm units, and if they were destroyed (p.16, "Tournament Game Roll to Destroy") US 4TH ID INF PLT, US 155 ARTY BATTERY (NON DESTROYED) -- List Warriors used, and whether they were killed or captured VON LUCK (SURVIVED) 2.3.2. WHAT: -- List the mission played 2.3.3. WHERE: -- Sector the attacker started in (can substitute with photo of campaign map and tokens). UTAH BEACH -- Sector that was the target of the attack (can substitute with photo).VIERVILLE -- Basic terrain type. FIELDS SMALL TOWN & SOME BOCCAGE 2.3.4. OUTCOME: -- Winner GERMANS WON THE GAME, BUT LOST THE SECTOR -- Victory Points 4-3
  3. I am trying to work the Utah Beach & extreme right flank of the invasion area, using 4th ID, 2nd AD and the now independent 325th GIR. Since the airborne failed to secure landing zones for the gliders, the 325th GIR is forced to land by boat on the beach behind 4th ID. Historically, a portion of the 325th did just this, it was called Task Force Howell.
  4. American Sector: With Last nights operation underway, the German defenders are digging in and the going is getting tougher. With the help of our reserves and enough supplies coming in, we only managed to take the vierville sector. The towns of StMere Eglise and Carentan are still in the hands of the krauts.More fighting needs to be done to secure and link the two beaches.
  5. is showing up today march 19th with Early War and 1710 Mid-War
  6. When I did the colorguard for my 15mm Civil War guys, I soaked the flags in watery glue, kinda like really skim milk. This allowed me to fold, bend, mold the paper to the shape I want and when it dried, it became nice and stiff holding its position.
  7. "Lend Lease" is a tournament where you DON'T have to bring an army, just bring your gaming aids (dice, tokens, ruler, template). During the tournament, each table will have its own scenario (maybe from the rule book, maybe from the source books) and pieces, so the pieces won't be shipped from one table to the next during the tournament. Each table may be from different periods, EW, MW, or LW. Each round, pairings are determined as to who is playing at which table, after looking at the table, armies, and scenario, the players determine who plays which (could easily be a die role). If you don't mind allowing other people to play with your toys, you can suggest the use of your army and the organizers will see if they can use it. This is a great tournament for new players trying to figure out where to start, players thinking about trying other periods, or players looking for something new to try.
  8. I've been pondering "Lend-Lease". It's been a couple years since one was done. Been wanting to discuss it with McCuen but keep forgetting about it.
  9. 2015 pts for mid-war???? omg there would be alot of tigers. Better allow the Mid-War Monsters for everybody else. But Oh that would be fun.
  10. I've heard you were thinking Mid-War for this tournament. If so, is it any Mid-War or early MW which makes a difference for British & German lists as a true DAK list would not fare well against a sicily/italy British List, vice-versa. Also, what point levels? Last year, I didn't get to see much of Enfilade due to time spent for tournament. Not complaining or saying its a bad thing, just with so much other gaming going on, was like a kid in a candy store. Maybe fewer points, shorter round time & more time between rounds? example: 1200 pts, 1 to 1:15 hr rounds with 1-1/2 lunch, and 1/2 hr between rounds 2-3?
  11. Campaign could be fun. Would be something different for a while. This past year we've only been playing practice games for upcoming tournaments. Until a campaign kicks off, I would like to know what period people are playing for pick-up games cause I can bring stuff for any period & any side, I just don't want to cart all of it. 2 armies I do regularly, 3 I can do, but all 10 every thursday? No Way.
  12. Yes, yes, Steve. Always a big thank you for putting on these events and bringing terrain.
  13. I am still bringing my bits & extras box for swap meet between rounds. I may also throw in some extra US vehicles that for some reason don't get used and may be swapped out for some other usefulness. I am looking specifically for Kublewagon drivers. I have 2 Kubles and nobody driving them.
  14. Bolo No Problem, It's all right. I was in the process of finishing up my FJ anyway and if you weren't able to make the tourney, I would then play the FJ. So, SteveM, could you change my list to the FJ list, tho I think mine is slightly different. I will send email. SteveZ
  15. 4 rounds of TANK ACES? 4 rounds of 600 pt armies? played on 4x4 tables? (600 pt armies waives the minimum 2 plt requirement of most lists, so you only need a minimum of 1 mandatory plt + hq) Lend Lease? public invited? prizes for each round? play as many rounds as you want?
  16. I am planning on showing up tonight (jan 29th) with LW US and EW French.
  17. I like the idea of doing it during the tournament for those of us waiting for other games to end. I have about a shoebox full.
  18. I can try working out a 1900 pt US tank list tonight to have handy. But work may hold me over, started laying steel down on the new sellwood bridge and it's been spotty about how long of a day is worked.
  19. Tried sending you a message and was given a notice that you cannot receive messages. This is probably due to the site now restricting our personal messaging to 50 messages. I had to delete all mine to get below that 50. Check your profile, then check your personal messaging.
  20. Good Ol pencil, paper, and calculator. They also work when the internet is down or during a power outage.
  21. i have about 1900 pts of american'ts with me.
  22. I am planning on using a French list if Bolo is still going to use my German FJ list. If he can not show up, then I will use the FJ list.
  23. This is the last Thursday meeting before Tanksgiving. I am showing up tonight with 1650 LW American Tanks. I have 2 different lists to choose from, one I've tried, the other hasn't been tested yet.
  24. Due to the Holiday season coming up, I don't think you'll have time to paint up an infantry company.
