  1. I too am bringing my enfilade list, 1650 LW US, infantry company, along with team yankee (just in case)
  2. can't help with the V4 midwar stuff yet. So I am showing up with enfilade list for practice.
  3. unfortunately i am still on puppy patrol / dog duty / stop [big bad swear word]ting on the carpet, pet sitting and can't break away from that.
  4. I can't make it, got dog sitting duties. I am sure Barca is up for Team Yankee, he loves it. Beware, he is getting smarter
  5. yeah it ended. Lazarus beat the crap out of me. 200 some poinst to 70. If we play turn 5 there is a chance that we could win, but it's only 0.1% and as good of a player that Lazarus is, that ain't going to happen and he will end up with a further 100 points and we would only get 16 more points. I and not a fan of futility and I have no problem of reverting back to my chess playing days and tip the king.
  6. I like the new point scale. The old one was in 5pt increments, why couldn't it have been 1pt? With this new point scale, it's easier to tally numbers in my head.
  7. I brought stuff for Team Yankee and Flames of War (1650 LW V3 for enfilade) if anybody is showing up.
  8. I copied the image from battlefronts site showing the smoke markers, pasted them into CAD, sized them accordingly, made multiple copies and put it on an 8.5 x 11 pdf attached here if anybody is constructive enough to paste it on cardstock or foamboard & cut them out. V4 direct smoke markers.pdf
  9. I have been going to Oregon City Geeks and Games on tuesday nights and playing Flames of War, last night, there were several newer people playing about 100pt armies of the new V4 midwar stuff and it looked like they were really enjoying it. The game seems to be picking up. If Tues nights works for anybody, OCGG is a nice place to play. They have several tables always set up and the owner has always been a FOW player.
  10. And that is why the US is always getting into Wars & Conflicts, so the historic gaming industry has something to work with.
  11. In v3, guns always rotated to the target, similar to turrets, and thus could block los for the other guns.
  12. My Mid-War stuff has mostly been Americans, though I did build a simple Tiger company (3 tiger and 3 pzIII tanks) and I am slowly upgrading my EW Fallschirm with more MW stuff. So, at this stage I don't have anything for V4 midwar. I have thought about a DAK army in the past but I am still collecting stuff for Team Yankee. Until a V4 MW American book comes out, I need to think about how to convert the little I have without having to incorporate a crap-ton more stuff I can't afford or don't want at this time. In the interim, I can look at how much stuff I can proxy without going too far out on the proxy limb, what I can borrow, and/or what I can trade for.
  13. I don't think infantry rotate to fire. I believe V4 system is still maintaining the 360 degree arc for infantry teams. I know GUN teams rotate to fire at targets in their front arc. Will look into it.
  14. My list consisted of 3x tiger and 3x piii N total 1495 pts. Now its 111 pts.
  15. yeah, Lazrus & I were thinking of playing this one out today. Unfortunately my gut is acting up today and I am going home early. So, if anybody can come up with a 1250 US or British force, Lazrus is still wanting to play the German side.
  16. I think I'm ready for team yankee escalation as I now have access to 97 points worth, thanks to my latest acquisition of 2 platoons of Leopard2 tanks. Those things can really rack up the points.
  17. I am stopping by tonight. I would be more for Early War practice, I still have to get used to certain rules. As for firestorm, I think there is only 1 game left and that is Lazarus' game. He started a new job that he is getting used to and he most likely will not show up tonight.
  18. Well, this weekend (march 25) at GaurdianGames we are playing an EW tournament "Dogs of War". Come check it out. We will be playing from about 11:00 am to about 6:00 pm. here is the thread for tournament info
