On the one hand, good. On the other, spending twice the money! Woo7! Hopefully for those of you who don't play both armies, it's not a supplement and is stand-alone.

That's funny. I like the LR- it appeals to my personal aesthetic. And my love of terminators and Land Raiders.

When I started, it was all Blood Angels and Rhino Rush, except when it was Wolves and Rhino Rush or Zerkers and Rhino Rush. Then they came out with these new-fangled "VDR" rules, and the game's been broken ever since. Access hatches and fire points? How will my 8 Devs with 4 lascannons fire out of their LR! On the up side, The Arch Overfiend gave termies a 5++ save, so they aren't just useless. Game evolves. I didn't care for 4th because everything hit hard and virtually nothing was durable (almost like capturing a la checkers and chess). I found it boring. Fifth was only marginally better. I like 6th and 7th, though.

Glad I finally picked up that finecast librarian- found a good cast back of shelf at Rainy Day. So, the only PA librarian has an axe, the plastic DV one has a sword, and we have yet another terminator librarian, where we already have 2 and a finecast. Meanwhile, the old (mind, I do like the model, but it has size issues) terminator captain is still in use, and the plastic captain is Strike Force Ultra only. And the Chaplain is still finecast. What they should have done, IMHO, is make a modular PA librarian kit (like the Commander kit, it's still a good kit). They make weird decisions across the pond.

This is the reason I only glue three pieces when I put on an arm: Shoulder, shoulder, gun connection. Means I can lever either arm completely off without damaging the rest of the model (arms aren't glued together). You should try it.

I rather suspect tank squadrons. Seems to be a theme. This, at least, I'm ready for. The librarian range is lopsided- two terminator librarians available right now. Time for new Librarian models in PA. The "exclusive" Strike Force Ultra captain I expect in a clam pack- or something comparable. Maybe a MOTF model with conversion beamer? It's conspicuous by its absence. New Assault Marines. If desperate for money, a plastic thunderhawk.

Too overshadowed by the other Wings. I'd like some synergy between Green, Raven, and Death, instead of Raven and Death synergizing and Green being like an ally that doesn't use an ally slot. It doesn't *feel* right to me, not to get into touchy-feely arguments.

Really hoping for Mortis rules, too- since loyalists already have a double ac option.

And something to make Greenwing desirable. And something to make Vets compatable to sternguard or vanguard in terms of being an actual upgrade.

Well, finished my DA high command formation in time for the new codex to drop. Gagh.

Transonics are for synergy with Vanguard, as I read it- Vanguard lower T4 to T3, FC Ruststalkers yhen ID T4. I read that as the intent.

The flyers really threw me for a purchasing loop. I buy on a regular budget; flyers were something I really felt each army needed a solution for, a fundamental change. Not flyers necessarily- have 3 Mortis Dreads in my DAs- but units that could cope. Diverted my budget pretty heavily for a while. Did save for a Knight, too, because I do a fair bit of Apoc and it screams Apoc to me.

Second. I paint slowly; I just finished adjusting for Fortifications and am almost done adjusting for Flyers for all my armies. I have what were 3 Chaos armies (now one large multi-legion horde), DAs, and SMs. I still haven't gotten Centurions yet. I might have to drop my DAs to keep up!

What are they missing? Ezekiel is their most gracefully aging model, Azrael could use a new sculpt. I don't see Centurions, their termies are a good kit, as are bikes. FA pods, sure. A chaplain. Unless they get weird weapon options, don't see what else they could get. More Librarians?

Too Hellraiser for me, though that may be the paint job.
