  1. So for the 40k event will the teams still play together in proximity to allow that group comraderie or will players be (barring happenstance) scattered throughout the room on individual match-ups for the length of the event?
  2. Just use the kid as a superheavy!
  3. Well at least now we know why you've been so busy! XD
  4. Updated with skills, injuries, equipment, and individuals sent home for injuries and replaced with new recruits after week one. Will update further with names as they come to me. Naming characters has always been hard for me :(

  6. If you have another day you wanna try it out just let me know. Or can always slip a game in on saturday too.
  7. Hey guys and gals reading today and future days. I wanted to extend this invitation in a more public and open fashion than perhaps we have so far. The Phoenix Nest is making inroads to carry Privateer Press's products including their model lines for Warmachine and Hordes. This game (two systems, same game) is excellent, a great deal of fun, and plays very differently from 40k. For those of you joining in Kill Team, KT plays very similarly to it. Anyway, the invitation is to come have a look at WarmaHordes, try it out, and have some fun. Wednesdays will be the night for it. Sean, Jeff, and I will be at the Phoenix Nest tomorrow to play games and run demos. It plays fairly small scale, and just the basic battlebox (intro box) is a perfectly serviceable game of only about 3-5 models. The three of us have more than enough models to provide multiple battlebox size games for several different factions. So if you're curious feel free to come by and check it out :)
  8. I will so totally be there with a bunch of blue-skinned space commies. If anybody needs/wants any of my marines to try something out lemme know!
  9. Bring your choice of faction. I think at this point we're just determining who can come when so we can figure out point values.
  10. I am sadly gone that entire weekend for my sister's wedding ;( If a weekend later is a viable option for everyone then I have lots I can bring but if the 10th is best y'all rock the house.
  11. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I flew all the way from Ohio for this event and it was so very worth it.
  12. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6FWwQ81dF5OdUpydHpwYkhialE There you all are. 150+ images from OFCC. Behold! I know there are some in there that aren't so great or multiples of the same army. I've been up with the exception of a short nap since 8 AM Sunday morning, so I'm gonna be lazy and just let you enjoy them all instead of trying to sort. =P Maybe I"ll do that later after I've written up some battle reports. Anyway enjoy! :)
  13. We're back and not dead! It was a great time and I'll write up a full report for you guys to enjoy later. Right now I'm still functioning on just a 5 hour nap after literaly traveling all night so ye olde brain is a little foggy still heheh. As far as swag goes we've definitely brought some stuff back for y'all and the store to enjoy though sadly there were no dice. We made sure to let the senate know though that we have a bunch of people out here who want some so as soon as they get a new order sorted out that they should let us know!
  14. Always glad to hear about other gaming groups in the area! Man. I may have to dig out my old lizardmen...er...SERAPHON and learn me some AoS! :)
  15. I am not sure. I don't use battlescribe so everything is mixed in with giant bundles of code. Would it be possible to type the list out in a text file and c/p it here for those of us behind the times? Heheh
  16. Either Tau or space sharks and I'm waiting to see what people play for the same reason. Also, Sean, I didn't think about it till just now. Are flyers legal if they fall under the total vehicle armor limit, or no flyers period?
  17. Just been busy. Still building those spehs mahreens though! I expect I will have lots of questions once I try out an airbrush
  18. Question. In years past there have been preferred formats for how we present our lists. I've read some articles I agree with as well that when it comes to event play it can really be a boon to have a nice, printed, at least somewhat standardized list format to present to our fellow players/team captains/opponents/meatbags. Do we have something like that for this year?
  19. Cool :) Glad I got at least one list build then that can be a solid two. I figure 7 units of obsec including the two dedicated transports should keep things competitive enough if I have to face off against a 3-rated list. I'm still toying with some other ideas just for fun. Dunno why but I find myself really wanting to run the air superiority cadre out of mont'ka. Only concern is would running 3 razorsharks be over the top for a 2 by virtue of simply having 3-5 flyers even if all they are are razorsharks and remoras. Decisions decisions.
  20. No problem! Happy to help spread the knowledge and glory of the Greater Good lol. All right here's another shot. How's it look, everybody? 21. Yep. They released Farsight Enclaves as it's own supplement book a few weeks ago. I had to read that little snipped three times just to make sure I read it correctly. Been wanting to run this melee commander ever since the first farsight supplement so so happy right now :)
  22. Actually yes something did change. In the latest release of the Farsight Enclaves Supplement it says for their signature systems "Any character in a Farsight Enclaves Detachment or Formation that may select Signature Systems may use the Signature Systems of the Farsight Enclaves (opposite), at the points cost shown, in addition to the Signature Systems from Codex: Tau Empire." (pg. 52) That's a good point, edosaurus. Thank you. Going to keep playing around with it and see if I can't get something I like with that tweaking. There are a couple units in here I really want to run for yon funsies. The "melee" commander with his hazard buddies, the remoras, and the breachers mainly. I just like the breach teams. Forces Tau to play aggressive which is something I've been trying to incorporate into my style after years running a gun line. Should be able to toss a revamp up here later today for more thoughts.
