I resent the disparaging insinuations about the proud folk of Salem made here. Sure, we ensure our continued mediocrity by allowing no buildings in town to be taller than our treasured state capitol building, but we most certainly do not have our female dogs conducting witch burnings! And we sooooo Warhammer too! My dinosaurs will stomp all over you for this.

Oh duh, I see it. Just wasn't expecting to find it at the bottom I guess! Thanks.

Well, on the bright side, I don't have to pull my Lord Mazdamundi conversion out of the closet and get it painted.

I played the moving watchtower the other day and a question came up. What do you do if misfire or hit comes up on the dice? No moving?

Those are mostly valid critiques in my opinion. But I still totally loved the movie.

I have a question about taking rare monsters from SoM/Monstrous Arcanum. The rulespack says: Monsters from these books are limited to 0-2 for monsters costing less than 100pts, and 0-1 for monsters over 100 pts or more. I'm assuming this means that is the max you can have of the same monster, not total of all monsters take from the books, right? For example, I want to take both a Basilisk and a Cockatrice in my army (both over 100pts). That is legal, right?

From the Truthsayer entry in the Storm of Magic book: "Driven by this deperation, many a Truthsayer has found himself battling alongside unsavory allies, harnessing his mastery of Jade Magic to a destructive cause. The goal on these occasions is to work a greater good by committing a small evil, but with every step along this path, the reclamation of their home becomes a ever more distant dream." Maybe if he was putting a Zoat in his army that wouldn't make sense, but a Truthsayer fits in my opinion.

Will this be your first OFCC without a great unclean one?

I like Skinks with javelins instead of blowpipes (except chameleons), running engine of the gods, And running a unit of the improved cold one riders. I auto include ancient stegadons and saurus heroes on cold ones. I don't know if its broken, but the harmonic convergence with channeling staff On Slann combo might be close. Under performers: Troglodon, skink characters on stegs, bastiladon (with solar engine can be OK, but random.)

US Masters: Pacific Northwest Region
ioscode replied to godswearhats's topic in Fantasy Battles (9th Age, WFB, etc.)
I think the method that mojoslayer posted would be a good approach, though to slightly adjust it we might want to auto-invite to the masters 1st and 2nd place of our 3 GTs, and the top 4 from the invitational. Maybe for this year, the GTs in Canada could just be included for granting invites to the invitational tournament. Seems like Canada has a large enough scene that they might be their own region in later years. (Maybe the US Masters could become the American Masters). Regarding the OFCC - Considering the nature of this event, primarily that it is team based and not really matched in an individual way, it might not be a good candidate for qualifying individuals for the masters. I'm not sure how big the OFFO is going to be, but maybe that could be a qualifier instead? Maybe you and evil_bryan have already talked directly about this. -

Storm of Magic Creatures?
ioscode replied to Murphy'sLawyer's topic in Fantasy Battles (9th Age, WFB, etc.)
If you're talking about the Ordo Fantasy Open, yeah, looks like you can take Monsters from Storm of Magic book using your special points. I think the SoM Chimera is significantly less cool than the Warriors of Chaos one. -

You should also get registered here: http://bsbreg.appspot.com/ . It will automatically take you to the payment page after you register, but you can just skip that until sometime after you're sure you can attend. -
If you're in the Portland area, I think you can catch it at Living Room theater.

We are close, just need 15 more tickets to sell... but there's little time left.
