I will be opening the clubhouse on Saturday from 11:00 to 7:00 if anybody would like to come in and push models around.

Ordo peeps! I am thinking of opening the clubhouse this Saturday in order to get some gaming in before the Super Bowl. If there is enough interest, I will be opening the clubhouse at 11:00am and closing it at around 7:00 pm. 8 full hours of nerd glory. Come in and throw some dice for Fantasy, 40k, X-Wing, or board games. Or do some hobbying and just chill with friends. Cheers.

So, for the outline: The mission was attack and defend on a Cityfight style terrain board. 2000 points of Mechanized Catachans Vs. 2000 points of Ork Speed Freeks. Guard set up first, Orks set up second, Orks went first. Corner deployment. Ork objective was to blow up the fuel depot in my deployment zone. Guard objective was to stop it. After both armies deployed, defender got D3+1 tank traps to be placed anywhere in "No man's land." Special rule: Promethium storage = volitile! On a penetrating hit roll a D3 FOR EACH PENETRATING HIT and compare to the following chart. Multilpe pens stack: 1 - No sparks, whew! Nothing happens, building is destroyed. 2 - Minor boom. Place the large blast template in contact with with any portion of the destroyed building. All models wholly or partially under the template take a Str 5 AP 4 hit that ignores cover. 3 - BIG BADABOOM! Place the Apacolyptic Blast 10" in contact with any portion of the detonated building. All models wholly or partially under the template suffer a Str 8 AP 3 hit that ignores cover. The Orks managed to break through the Guard lines and destroy the fuel tank in hand to hand! Col. Iron Hand Straken was able to escape and has now asked for the assistance of the Black Templar Chapter of the Astartes. Next weeks game will be 1850 of Templars against 2000 points of Orks due to his crushing victory. Also, due to the loss of fuel in the region, the Templars will not have access to tracked vehicles. Any model with the "Tank" rule will not be allowed for the Astartes. Forging the narrative!

I'll have my X-Wing Burk. We can play a game or two. And then I'll be looking at some 40k. Necrons with a crazed C'tan for Escalation games and Catachans or Tau Farsight Enclaves for non-Escalation play.

So awesome. Not $50.00 awesome, but awesome nonetheless.

Ordites! I need moar Genestealers. Or their heads. Or both! Blue plastic, purple plastic, grey plastic, Battle for Macragge, or current line. Must be in decent condition. No 30 layers of paint with sand on their heads please. And speaking of sandy heads, I need some extra heads. Got some that a guy had ruined with sand on their heads (WTF? I know, right?) and need to replace them. If you have any kicking around leftover from that unit of 'stealers that you aren't using because the new dex is sad panda face, let me know. I have cash and misc 40k to trade. Cheers.

So, I got accepted to an amazing opportunity in Oklahoma and it will start on the 20th of February. That means I will not be able to participate in this to it's conclusion. Therefore, to be fair to others, I will have to bow out and let somebody else play in my place. It's pretty fortunate for you all, really. Lol. What are D-Weapons? I have never owned super heavies, nor do I plan to. If you need it, by all means bring it. I will enjoy getting raosted off the table so I can play more X-Wing.

I liked the VICTORY CONDITIONS just as JollyOrk pointed to in the above post. It was really cool for the Tyranids to have to try and knock out shield generators. Something other than "get mah troops over dere, and over dere, hur hur hur." It was neat to see GW go with something different. Oh and the Tau? Just had to kill the Swarmlord with Tyrant guard. And they almost succeeded. With 1 wound left of the Swarmlord, the Tau fired his last shot, and rolled a 1 to wound. Game ends in a draw. Pretty snazzy if you ask me. As for the Force Org stuff, I will let more empassioned and learned gamers make all the noise they like. No need for an opinion when everyone else is moar right than you on their internet. :)
