Land Raiders and open topped vehicles would still be special in the ability to assault after moving. I just felt that being able to assault from stationary vehicles would have balanced the mechanics a bit better. But, as it is not to be, then I will just have to find a work around or play shooting-hammer like everyone else.

No assaulting from stationary vehicles. That makes me sad. That would have been a big boon to assault centric armies. As it stands, it is still shooty based 40k. Sad. I love close combat in the game and am sad to see it declined so much.

Good call bro. Your opponents will be a bit happier knowing that they don't need to bring a crap ton of Plasma, Lascannons, Gravs when they play you to take on your HMFIC.

With 7th Edition around the corner, it is hard to say what will and won't be OP. But your list is nice and heavy. I wouldn't be disappointed stepping up to your table and seeing your list. One caveat though. This is OFCC. The beat stick Chapter Master is a tad heavy handed. I recommend losing artificer armor or going to a straight storm shield. Give your opponent a way to kill him without making it too easy. To me, him being eternal warrior with a 2+/3++ makes him just the other side of "not fun to fight." An opponent will have to dedicate a tremendous amount of resources to killing him off. Food for thought.

I swung by there over the weekend looking for a game and the owner said that Wednesday nights was their dedicated miniatures game night. They are predominantly a Fantasy household though. He said there are very few 40k gamers, but always welcomes more.

Looking for a Leman Russ Punisher Barrel. Both halves and the end cap. Don't need the turret, nor the tank. Just need the barrel. Cash to buy and various bits to trade.

Testors acrylic thinner (green bottle) is the best I have found. Also, I recommend Iwata Medea. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. I have been abusing mine for 2+ years now and it runs like a champ. YMMV. As far as rusty stuff (back on topic), after you get the color red you want, gloss coat your model. No......seriously. Then mix rust pigment with burnt umber oil paint and a little bit of white spirits. (Thinner) Flick onto model with stiff brush. When sufficiently coated, put pure thinner into your airbrush and diffuse the rust spots. Not TOO much but you'll get the gist soon enough. After wards you can streak the oil and rust with a thinner dampened brush. Then dull coat your model when finished. Do this in a ventilated area or you will kill braincells BTW. If you want any help in person, let me know and we can do a workshop up at WOW to get the technique you are looking for. Hope this helps.
