Here's my idea for a functional Blood Angel (in paint, if not in reality) army:  The Skyhammer would use the Iron Hands chapter tactics, for the FNP.  The two sanguinary priests can either go with the assault units from the Skyhammer, giving them 4+ FNP, or go with the veteran assault squads from the Sanguine Wing giving them 5+ FNP.

I'm thinking this would be a multi wave attack.  On turn 1, the Skyhammer comes in, with the two assault squads getting into close combat, and the devastator squads dropping in and opening fire.  The Sanguine Wing can roll to come in on turn one (with a re-roll), and will come in on turn one hopefully setting up a turn two attack - as second wave supporting the first.  I'll equip one of the veteran assaults with free power swords for AP3, and the other unit with free power axes for AP2.  As well as the Sernguard dropping out of the Stormraven and opening up with the grav shots.  The tac squads camp backfield objectives.

Gonna be funny to see assault squads taking down knights though.

Wouldn't they need eviscerators though?  Or are you talking about with HQs?

Melta bombs!

Are you really going to try to get that single MB sarge to bomb those imperial knights?

I thought the squad could take them, I was incorrect.

No problem. Though if you want to see funny of the same sort, the Demolition vets can all take melta bombs in the same capacity. Only 90pts for 10 guys with MB...

Nevermind, looked up the formation. Scary formation in many respects. Really makes me want to start adding power weapons back to my tactical squads, like at the start of 6th.

Suppressing Fusillade – A unit targeted by a Skyhammer Annihilation Force’s Devastator Squad in the Shooting phase must take a Morale test at the end of the phase on 3D6, regardless of how many casualties were inflicted. If the test is failed, the enemy unit does not Fall Back, but must immediately Go to Ground. If the test is passed, the enemy unit is unable to fire Overwatch for the rest of the turn.

So if I am reading this correctly the targeted unit/units must make a morale test even if no models are killed?
