pretre
I mean, it delivers anything really. If you can get a bro character with deep strike, you're good to go.

AgentP
Here's my idea for a functional Blood Angel (in paint, if not in reality) army: The Skyhammer would use the Iron Hands chapter tactics, for the FNP. The two sanguinary priests can either go with the assault units from the Skyhammer, giving them 4+ FNP, or go with the veteran assault squads from the Sanguine Wing giving them 5+ FNP.I'm thinking this would be a multi wave attack. On turn 1, the Skyhammer comes in, with the two assault squads getting into close combat, and the devastator squads dropping in and opening fire. The Sanguine Wing can roll to come in on turn one (with a re-roll), and will come in on turn one hopefully setting up a turn two attack - as second wave supporting the first. I'll equip one of the veteran assaults with free power swords for AP3, and the other unit with free power axes for AP2. As well as the Sernguard dropping out of the Stormraven and opening up with the grav shots. The tac squads camp backfield objectives. ++ Blood Angels: Codex (Combined Arms Detachment) (320pts) ++ HQ Sanguinary Priest (75pts) [Chainsword, Jump pack (15pts)] Sanguinary Priest (75pts) [Chainsword, Jump pack (15pts)] Troops Tactical Squad (85pts) [Missile launcher (15pts), 4x Tactical Marine (56pts)] ····Tactical Sergeant (14pts) [bolt Pistol, Chainsword] Tactical Squad (85pts) [Missile launcher (15pts), 4x Tactical Marine (56pts)] ····Tactical Sergeant (14pts) [bolt Pistol, Chainsword] ++ Blood Angels: Codex (Archangels Sanguine Wing Formation) (870pts) ++ ····Sternguard Veteran Squad (220pts) [9x Combi-Grav, 9x Sternguard Veteran (198pts)] ········Veteran Sergeant (22pts) [bolt Pistol, Combi-Grav] ····Stormraven Gunship (200pts) [Twin Linked Assault Cannon, Twin-linked Multi-melta] ····Vanguard Veteran Squad (225pts) [9x Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack (30pts), 9x Power Weapon, 9x Vanguard Veteran (171pts)] ········Veteran Sergeant (24pts) [1st Power Weapon, Bolt Pistol, Melta Bombs (5pts)] ····Vanguard Veteran Squad (225pts) [9x Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack (30pts), 9x Power Weapon, 9x Vanguard Veteran (171pts)] ········Veteran Sergeant (24pts) [1st Power Weapon, Bolt Pistol, Melta Bombs (5pts)] ++ Space Marines: Codex (Iron Hands Chapter) (Skyhammer Formation) (660pts) ++ Assault Squad (185pts) [2x Flamer (10pts), Keep Jumppacks, 9x Space Marine (153pts)] ····Space Marine Sergeant (22pts) [bolt Pistol, Chainsword, Melta Bombs (5pts)] Assault Squad (185pts) [2x Flamer (10pts), Keep Jumppacks, 9x Space Marine (153pts)] ····Space Marine Sergeant (22pts) [bolt Pistol, Chainsword, Melta Bombs (5pts)] Devastator Squad (145pts) [4x Multi-Melta (40pts), 4x Space Marine (56pts)] ····Drop Pod (35pts) [storm Bolter] ····Space Marine Sergeant (14pts) [bolt pistol, Chainsword] Devastator Squad (145pts) [4x Multi-Melta (40pts), 4x Space Marine (56pts)] ····Drop Pod (35pts) [storm Bolter] ····Space Marine Sergeant (14pts) [bolt pistol, Chainsword]

pretre
I had a thought: counts as! Sob have plenty of MM. Sob have jump infantry just sitting on the shelf. Obviously, I couldn't ally with sob since tha would be confusing. But sob counts as sky hammer with SW allies?

Though if you want to see funny of the same sort, the Demolition vets can all take melta bombs in the same capacity. Only 90pts for 10 guys with MB... Guest
Nevermind, looked up the formation. Scary formation in many respects. Really makes me want to start adding power weapons back to my tactical squads, like at the start of 6th.

cadaver2k
Suppressing Fusillade – A unit targeted by a Skyhammer Annihilation Force’s Devastator Squad in the Shooting phase must take a Morale test at the end of the phase on 3D6, regardless of how many casualties were inflicted. If the test is failed, the enemy unit does not Fall Back, but must immediately Go to Ground. If the test is passed, the enemy unit is unable to fire Overwatch for the rest of the turn. So if I am reading this correctly the targeted unit/units must make a morale test even if no models are killed?
