hmmm I am not a huge fan of Munchkin… but after watching the vid… and reading the material - it seemed like a darn simple game (much like UNO to me)… that anyone can learn. Play a quick game or 2 while waiting for the rest of the RPG group to show up… or something like that. It doesn't look overly complex and really just a quick fun game to me. And for 30/35$ - its a pretty good deal. -d

same here - looking forward to playing it… and happy that I will be getting both decks now too :D

- the paint on the photos I have seen doesn't look very complex… will be funny to see why they need instructions on it… lol. but - cool… can't wait to add to my debt -d

cool - thinking I will b going with the full 4x8 size… allowing for side table space for games of 40k… and big enough for small apoc games at the full 4x8. Also - big enough for 2 4x4 spaces for smaller games like infinity. awesome thanks guys! - I will show the build on my blog.. sometime. -d

i have to have edges… damn old metal figures really get tippy… and don't bounce well on concrete floors lol. I was thinking - for the 4x8 I could set up 2 4x4 tables for smaller games and such… (infinity or EPIC). -d

Ok - I have been working hard on setting up for some garage hammer in the future. I am building a table top for a costco fold up table… This will allow me to get everything out of the way when I need to do some other work in the garage. The table top will be ⅜ plywood… with 2x2 support - and 1x3 edges to keep things on the table. I have it mostly planned out - and I have built into the plans to have the table "nest" onto the costco folding table to keep things stable and centered. --- My question - I am debating - do I build the top to a full 4x8 sheet…allowing for bigger games as well as room for a side table room. OR will it be better (size manageable) to build it cut down to 4x6 (traditional play area for 40k). Allowing for a side table to be an actual separate table nearby? It seems to be purely preference - but I am leaning to the 4x8. But I am also thinking I would build 2 tables in the long run. I figured I would ask those whom possibly did this already - regrets with the smaller 4x6 or the 4x8? I plan on building the first table this weekend. -d

well - thinking about a list I was thinking about doing for OFCC last year. Harlequin list (CW/DE) list - I was looking at at least 2-3 units of bikes - hellions - shining spears… coupled with "harlequin WL's" (counts-as Talos/Cronos or normal WL's). Filled out with a unit or 2 of storm guardians as "mimes" and what I could get as far as normal harlequins. Using the things I already have (harlequin bikes - shining spears converted into harlequin bikes) and the hellions. - I am thinking about the same sorta theme. But it will have to wait for the codex to see what will work in the end lol. should be fun for ofcc… but probably not very effective as a list lol -

yeah - well I would be doing a harlequin army… not sure about the codex this time around yet ( but I have done them in the past). But coupled with some DE and CE - but not making a duplicate of a WS list for CE. an assault army… lots of clowns. … bikes and speed. So I see these as counter-assault role. Again not knowing what the rest of the codex will hold - but just seeing them alone… I was thinking at minimum 3 or 4 of them to be viable (more than a token unit). Of course the rest of the army will matter in the equation - which is why this is just grasping at ideas lol. -d

hmmmm wondering how many to get…. 2 seems like a weak unit…I think this unit needs at least 4 to be worth whatever points - just to get the offensive abilities to work out against most opponents. thoughts>? -d

wow… ok my head is spinning - trying to think about lists - and list options. These new bikes are not the same as my old ones lol… I will be getting some of these as well. But thinking about maybe a saim hann style CE list combined with whatever harlequins codex allows … I also have a unit of shining spear harlequins I converted … and perhaps some hellions that I had already started to convert. lol… but its all up in the air till the codex drops and the dust settles lol. -d BTW - where did you find that image - P?

this is starting to seem like possibly more than a 2 week release… maybe more like 3-4 weeks of Harlequin stuff. -d

woot! - first batch ordered :) only one of each (troupes and Solitaire)… for collecting sake. - can't wait to see what else comes down the pipe next week :) -d

I will plan on bringing my boxes of old WD's into WoW at some point soon… free to take for anyone.

i found a massive stack of them... how old? I will check the dates - I know some are over a decade
