    Update

The feeding tube was removed today! Good News!
  9. I am going to wait until at least Monday to give people a little time to decide.
  10. So I was surfing the webs last night and came across Battle Kiwi. I really like their buildings. It is modern and pre-painted. It will be great for the second table I am starting. Does anybody want to go in an Order? My wife told me to do it. I contacted the owner and he said shipping is one flat rate, so the more the better. The Kiwi dollar is 69 cents to the US dollar, so everything is a bit cheaper that it looks on line.
  11. I added Battle Kiwi to the resources. They have very nice buildings.
  12. Tonight, I going for the boots...........
  13. Painting Time! I finished the Companion Cube Justin gave to me. I need to matte spray it to protect it, but it is done. Then, I started on a Muyib. I have a Bashi mostly done, but I want to work on the models I am using the most: Farzans, Barids, Muyibs, and Ghulams.

    Snow?

It was snowing, but not sticking, when I left OHSU last night.
  15. On Sunday, I left for the club a few minutes early, so I could pick up snacks, nearly get killed by a hipster blowing stop sign at 6th and Main, and open the club early. Jeff was waiting at the door, so we warmed up the club and set tables. I gave Jeff the task of setting up two tables and set up a third. Last week, I sprayed some on my and the club's terrain. I checked on the process and added a few more passes with the rattle cans. One by one people trickled and and brought food and drinks. The club is now well stocked. I brought mini-cinnamon rolls. They were fine, but could have been more decadent. I played Jay and his vanilla Yu- in a rematch of the previous week. We took the same lists sans Cypher. It was the same list I took to Glimpses. I want to get good at the list. I have been trying all Haqq has to offer. Now, I want to advance my skills. The mission was to place down three markers: one in each corner and one just past the 50 yard line in the center of the table. The secondary goal was too keep models alive. Jay won WIP and had me set up first, so I went first. He turtled, so I went into Alpha Strike mode. I tried to take out as much as possible. One Mutt died chain rifling his left flank and clearing mines. My Asawira and Muyibs went hard against the other side. I killed his LT and put him in a bad position. His Ninja panted a flag in the center and ate a mine. I burned through order trying to plant a marker on his right flag and then on my center. One of his Shaolin Monks was a tank and face blocked shots and still fought on for a long time. I burned up his order pool, so he could not advance far enough. I think I won 5-0. In the second game, I played Jeff and his vanilla Pan-O. It was a scary list. He had three MSV2 models. Two were Niss on the high ground with long lanes of fire. No smoke grenade shenanigans for me. I lost WIP. He picked my deployment and side. I went first. I sacrificed my CoC Farzan to take out his MHG Niss and planted a repeated with a pitcher to spotlight and smart missile his Locust. Jeff missed a few AROs and my Mutts made a few lucky armor saves. I was able to place the Mutts in deep and force Jeff into hard decisions. One Isolated his Knight Hospitaller. Jeff advance his Father Knight and Black Friar. I countered by putting my FO Barid into a cluster up the center of the table with my Asarira Link in the center of the right flank. The Barid FO'd everything it could and took down the Father Knight and other models. The Asawira took out the Black Friar. His Niss sniper went down. In the end, Jeff was in retreat. I had planted a marker in the center on on his right flank. Jeff placed none. I think I won 8-0, but really Jeff's dice beat him. Can't wait for next week.

    Update

My brother is an a much better mood today and has more energy. Yeay!
  17. Thank you Jay for running this. What a great day! It is good to have the main room full.
  18. The great ITS software matched me against Daniel and his JSA. Thanks to Jay, I have had some practice against JSA. I was not prepped for Daniel to have amazing rolls. I rolled well with good odds, he rolled better on bads odds. If I hit him with a chain rifle, he would make his saves. It lasted for a turn and a half. Instead of fighting awesome, I went for my highly classifieds. I pick up my two private and two of the common. The only problem is that I did not have a doctor or an engineer. The remaining two classifieds required those....... Then, he said his luck would turn and it did. I peeled the onion back. His right flank collapsed. He was left with his Keisotsu Link and Tokusetsu. He managed two of the common Highly Classifieds. In the end, I pulled out a 6-4 win. One of the best pats of playing at Glimpses, is that everyone goes over to McKenzie's for lunch and has good burgers and beer. Everybody goes and we all chat. It is a good time. This time, we had an Eclipse IPA that was fantastic. The next game was against The DiceAbide. Adam is a solid player in any game. He is a better Infinity player than I am. His Onyx tore me apart. The Rodok are a hard unit to fight. I wounded several. His paramedic healed them. His Noctifier Missile Launcher and Total Reaction bot kept my units pinned down. I took one round of anetennas. He took the last two. I tried to make him pay for each advance, so he would have to earn his points. I think he won 8-2. The final round was against Isaac and his NCA and Nate K's table. I know NCA. Pete has taught me many lessons. Ian has shown me a few tricks as well. And of course, Evan has played Pan-O quite well in the club. I think this was the fourth time I have played Isaac. Before the game, I had one win to two loses against him. I know I had a chance, but he is a solid player, so I would have to earn my win. Isaac won WIP and opted to go second. I had him deploy first and took what I thought was the better. He turtled and put his units in three groups: behind the angle of a 45 degree to the table L shaped building in the middle, inside a building on his left flank, and inside a building on his right flank. Since the building have window, I asked if we could shoot through them. He said, "Yes," so I went to alpha strike mode. I raced up a Mutt to a building with his bolt link and a machinist inside and chain rifled them until the Mutt was dead and the bolt hacker survived. I took as much of the table as I could. Isaac fought back, but was in a big hole. He moved a hidden Hexa to an Antenna and tried for breathing room. My Mutts killed his LT and the Hexa as my Specialist rushed to touch three Antennas. Isaac was soon in retreat with his remaining models running off the board at the end of turn two. I think the game ended with me winning 9-0. I took third and picked up an Ariadna Airborne Patch and camo token. Not a bad day at all.
  19. The tables at Glimpses are always challenging. The terrain is kit-bashed from repurposed items. Everything has a odd profile and odd sizes. The set up seems to be more on the Europe style of play. HMGs, Sniper Rifles, and Missile Launchers have an advantage. Hiding spots are a premium. I enjoy the test. Nate K. brought his table. It is mostly Shark Mounted Lasers with some Mantic pieces and amazing prototype sci-fi billboards from Muse on Minis. The buildings are stackable and have removeable roofs tops, so you can play in and out of them. The Shark Mounted buildings are practical like the Black Sheep Industrial's , but more usable and have a greater variety.
  20. Glimpses has rearranged their floor, so there is a ton of room for gaming and they are probably tied with Fate & Fury for the most Infinity products on the shelves. The store was offering 25 percent of Infinity products, so I bought an Djanbazan box. Yes, ai am a sucker for a good deal. They did not have Fiday , and the only other model I am tempted with currently is the Govad HMG, and I have reserved that model at Fate & Fury.

    Update

My brother is out of the ICU, so that is good news.
  22. Well, I rolled down to Glimpses to play an ITS. The Missions were very approachable being High Classified, Antenna Field, and Safe Area. After a hard week, I went will one list. Instead of making lists tailored to the missions, I decided to play one list. At the club, I have using the list below. GROUP 15 4 4 BARID Hacker (Assault Hacking Device UPGRADE: Icebreaker) Rifle + Pitcher / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 19) FARZAN (Minelayer) Boarding Shotgun, Antipersonnel Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 23) FARZAN (Chain of Command) Boarding Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 26) MUTTAWI'AH Chain Rifle, E/Marat, Jammer, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) MUTTAWI'AH Chain Rifle, E/Marat, Jammer, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) MUTTAWI'AH Chain Rifle, E/Marat, Jammer, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) MUTTAWI'AH Chain Rifle, E/Marat, Jammer, Smoke Grenades / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) SHAYTANIYAH REMOTE Smart Missile Launcher / Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 18) FANOUS REMOTE Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) GROUP 29 1 BARID (Forward Observer) Rifle + Pitcher / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) MUYIB (Minelayer) Rifle + Light Shotgun, D.E.P. Viral Mines / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 25) MUYIB (Forward Observer) Rifle + Light Shotgun, D.E.P. / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 24) ASAWIRA (Fireteam: Haris) Spitfire, Nanopulser / Pistol, Shock CCW. (2 | 44) GHULAM Sniper Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 16) GHULAM (Forward Observer) Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 13) GHULAM Lieutenant Rifle + Light Shotgun / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12) GHULAM Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 17) LEILA SHARIF Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Shock Marksman Rifle, D-Charges / Breaker Pistol, Knife. (0 | 20) It is a Mutt and Meat list. The Mutts are there to control the center of the table and alpha strike turtled armies. Mutts are stupidly cheap for all their options. They don't last long, but I will gladly trade them piece for piece. The five regular orders in the group can feed them or be used for the other members of the group. The other members of the group are role players. The Farzan with Chain of Command is LT. insurance. The other is a board control agent. The Barid Hacker is for classified and spotlighting targets for the smart missile launcher. The Shay is bomber. It is used to blast targets with relative safety. When the trick works, it works very well. The Meat list has two parts. The Ghulam link is a cheap defensive link. The sniper and missile launcher are there for AROs with a very long reach. The FO and Leila can spit away and grab objectives if needed. Leila is spiffy. She has a decent gun, has D-charges and can hack through the remotes. The Barid FO can launch repeaters through his pitcher and Flash Pulse. If I wanted to, this guy can be an LT. I have done it in the past. He can do fun things with the LT, if the Farzan is still alive. The Muyibs and Asawira are a Gunslinger team. They can hunt and hold objectives. The minelayer can drop mines to help hold territory or create problems toward navigating the table. Being Dogged, the Muyibs can stay in the fight longer and throw wrenches. If I had the points, I the FO Muyib, would be a doctor, but the FO is a good specialist and can help create targets for the Shay.
  23. Six people attended: Daniel, Isaac, Adam, Nate, and Andrew. Forces Played: Haqq, Aleph, NCA, 2-Combined, JSA Nate took the event.

    Update

Another surgery today. The doctor had to removed all the transplanted soft tissue. They soaked the wound in antibiotics and added a paste to help grow bone. The guy in the next room is still screaming constantly.
