I am going to agree with Kreimer on the basing. There needs to be a color contrast, perhaps, like the gray blue in the battle mat.

Tonight, I played Ian and Pete. Pete brought the 20x20 system. We all rolled for each game. Against Ian, we went for high ground and for scavenging tech as the secondary mission. I set up poorly. Ian took out most of my Gulam Link. My Muyibs could not drive him back. My Barid and Killer Hacker took out his Swiss Hacker. I took one spot. He had another. Ian was higher. If I had one more order, I would have picked up tech for the win. At least with my last order (my LT), took out his Aquila Guard. In the second game, I played Pete. We went up to 300 points from 200. We had alien discovery and zombification. I focused more. I decided going for the first turn would give me access to the alien tech first. It was essential. My Farzan opened the the tech and was rewarded with a repeater. I dropped it next to Hector, a Proxy, and a Dakini. My Assault Hacker Barid spot lit the proxy and smart missiled the proxy and Hector. I put Hector into NWI and blasted the Proxy. I blasted a Devabot and Dakini as well. Pete still started with 10 orders. He ran Scylla to the repeater go kill my Barid. In a series of bad luck, I carbonated him twice. He reset as I tried to shut down his coms (and failed). He spent almost all his orders on trying to kill the Bard, but failed. We ended there as I could start bombing Hector and Scylla with my Missile Launcher again while running up my Mutts and Fasid. The scenario bit him hard.

I like ship interiors, medical complexes, ware houses and cargo loading sites, modern business district, and neon, bladerunner style slums. I like verticality of the street levels. Go with what speaks to the most. I would love to play on a blade runner table

Picked up and assembled the new Tuareg tonight. I will probably use him as a doctor. WIP 15, TO, mines..... I have a nice 300 point list to try for Jay's league. It is vanilla, but a potent tool box.

Season One of Deep Space Nine: I used to really like this show. Wow, it is almost painful now. 3/10 Season One of Dark Matter: the first three episodes are flat. It picks up a bit in a Episode 5. Episode 6 is really good and the show takes off from there. 7.5/10 Season Two of Dark Matter: Solid Sci-Fi. Has a bit of the Farscape syndrome ( You think it is bad know, wait...). 8/10 Season One of Daredevil. Or as I like to call it, The Fall of Kingpin. It is great TV. 9/10

There is one unit that is always satisfying to remove from the game as swiftly as possible.
