  1. Kevin I feel extremely touched. It has been many years that I followed the status quo each time convincing myself that the club was doing well. However once I stepped back I found the name I was proud to wear besmirched by exclusivity, cronies and actively driving people away without a way to crack back in. I was ignored and tabled just like before. I decided to fight back. Before doing anything drastic I took a small team to the ofcc we won the Marshal Johnson again. It reminded me that the name was something to fight for to drive envy for once again.

Initial spending of the money rules required multiple acceptance of the leadership with only one member in leadership there was no club approved way there without getting a full thing running again. I talked to Kevin to find out if there was enough left to rally. I was not interested in cow tailing to a hobby killer and a small group who has bad street cred. Yet even with this I tried multiple times to ask the real power for existing logos. And was shined on and basically ignored. The final time I asked I was also asked to return the club banner after this ofcc.

You wanted my side there you go. I have let Kevin drive this as I had no interest in dealing with you bullies again however Kevin wanted to mend bridges and for him I am willing to do what ever he agrees to.

Jim said blech to this I say blech to the last 4 years.

  2. I have been on the account and as I am a computer hater I do most banking in person. There were instances in the past before the banking switch where I was advised of the account and its standing. This course of action had been in process prior to the switch. The switch just allowed me to note it easier with what I was doing as I did it.

As stated above I have far too many emotions to convey in text.

Top bar there is a + for creating new things which pulls up a menu.

    Select gallery image

    Choose member gallery

Follow steps to upload picture (possible in a new album I've got a couple albums now)

    Upload the picture

Then copy paste the URL for posting purposes

    Convoluted maybe but it works!

    I haz no attack bikes.

So sticking with what you have, I feel ya! I have one but man they are cheap mobile multi melta, so tempted to pick a couple more. Odd little thing I found is plasma pistols are cheap and assault squads can take 3, I had enough random Marine bits to execute on this for my list

  5. @Yarbicus

I don't know how you feel about fast attack but you could fold that entire list into a brigade reasonably easily... Split all those 10 man to 5 man troops, drop a Captain, maybe a sternguard or two and pickup 3 single attack bikes. Hell might be able to get the attack bikes for the unnecessary Captain.

This would put the whole army in a single detachment and increase your command points by one. Arguably the bikes are better than the Captain you are only taking to get more detachments with.

Thanks Pax!  Yeah, I plan on having maybe half my army in reserve, max.  The other units will be my most resilient to withstand fire until everyone arrives.

BTW I also realize that Drop Pods are overpriced for what they do but I don't care.  I have always wanted to use them I love the idea of the dropping down and disgorging units that can put out massive dakka.

Make sure you are using the most updated points! 65 for a storm bolter and deepstrike for something that doesn't have it but shoots mid range well is worth that in my opinion. Especially with the across the board discounts on Marines and their gear.

Ya, last year going old school was really difficult for me to do as I couldnt use any of the index heralds for Slaanesh demons.  This year, I know Get of my LAN we decided not to do it.  It really was an over sight on GW part with the codex.

I wouldn't blame GW for a community self imposed limitation. GW totally gave us the tools for adding them to the army in a good way. Personally I'm disappointed that my basic dual twin autocannon dread is now forge world, gives him a bad wrap but that is just like people's opinion man.

  8. I would also consider using chaos renegades from the vigilus ablaze. The red corsairs gives you more cp, the red brotherhood could be Khorne berserkers giving you additional chances to fight with them. Terminators are good now for chaos with the stock option being chain axes! For troops chaos Marines can mix bolters and chain swords, cultists could be your initiates maybe the sharks use them a little bit more as a trail by fire before you get your fins (gene seed). Finally the red corsairs unique strategem allows you to recycle a chaos Marines troops unit, remove Target unit and place it at full strength with in 6" of any table edge and more than 9" from an enemy. Nice little flanking move.

Oh havocs being their heavy weapon troopers with move and fire no penalty is kind of shark like... Can't stop moving or they die...

Just watch out for the rounds where you have to work over black primer!😈

It requires that specific primer... Plan A, 5 minutes re prime, 5 minutes hairdryer, 5 minutes paint contrast, 5 minutes to run around and manically cackle at other participants that aren't "done" yet.

Plan B skip even entering and proceed directly to manically cackling at participants!

  10. Sad thing is they had great screen writers converting the books over but now without the base book to parse through and in my opinion improve they are struggling to get anything remotely approaching good on the screen.

Specific all to short moments are good but they are struggling so hard to navigate to those moments. It is painful.

Old School got changed this year. It doesn't have to be single book anymore, because, as a number of people pointed out, that actually invalidates a ton of older Armies that are now dependent on Index Units. "Your whole army fits within a single Detachment with no single model over 400 points or over 20 wounds "

There was discussion but as far as I've seen confirmed the old-school quote is still "Sources? You mean source!..." Then your quote West.

@evil_bryan could we get an official ruling?

The Infil-Traitors need a fourth player, due to one of our past members underestimating just how much extra work having a baby around entails. Looking for someone who wants to chill out, throw some dice, and maybe forge a narrative or two.

Yeah that took me out for a year! Toddlers are interesting too... had to table my plans for a deathwatch primaris army, I'm still bringing a team. My army is just stuff I already have painted...

I enjoy a blind taste test to see which bourbon is preferred. I also like to taste Bourbons when they are straight, chilled, and with an ice cube to see how the flavor changes.

Have you tried just room temp water? Controlled amounts small, like an inch or two from a straw.

Just tried this over the last couple evenings and the experience is cool. Surprisingly makes some notes stronger. You don't mix it in so much as just wait for it to push the oils (non water soluble bits) up and nose better. First taste after adding water is stronger then it gets weaker as you separate some of the tasting notes. This is totally an adventure thing as it may not be obvious how oily the whiskey you are using is and cask strengths typically take the proofing down better.

This is just a bad ruling. A twin-whatever-gun is a gun unto itself. It's not, for any game purpose except this niche scenario, two whatever-guns strapped together.

2 extra shots because it has "twin" in the name is a bad precedent to set.

Although this is not referencing twin guns... it is saying if it is equipped with two pulse carbines. I do not believe two weapons auto twin link anymore. This seems to say it is per weapon instead of per model for a specific tau rule.

Wish I had the current book...
