  1. DE don't have to worry about going down a hole every time they make a break test nor fear some of the winds of magic rolls. And before it gets mentioned: ET is not real warhammer.
  2. Only one challenge round (round 1) this year and the first one has been issued and accepted! Shop of Chop does indeed have the stones to pick up the gauntlet thrown down by DMBZ: Nut Punch. It's on, boyz! Issue and/or accept your first round challenges here: http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/23781-ofcc-challenge-round/
  3. I'll start the challenges with a confirmation from Micah that team Shop of Chop does indeed have the stones to pick up the gauntlet thrown down by DaMommasBoyz: Team Nut Punch. First first round matchup! WooHoo!!
  4. That version of SwedeComp is still just a beta release. Some things may change. EDIT: The change log shows 15.1 were grammatical changes. Version 15.2 changes are to Wood Elves and Warriors of Chaos.
  5. No worries, Chris! No offense taken and I wanted to be clear I was not being serious re: comp camping.
  6. It's fun to play armies at that level too. Most games I play are with 15+ lists. My 19+ from last year was both fun to play with and against.
  7. Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I was being faceous. For me, as anyone who has played me can attest, I tend to be a 'shove it forward' kinda guy. Even if pulling back or squating gets or seals my win (as my game with RD went last OFCC). I wanted to bring this possibility out early so that we can properly dissuade and ridicule those who might be considering such shenanigans. 20 is not the goal. At the same time don't be afraid to bring a 20. Bring what you want to play! As long as it falls within the band, of course.
  8. I'll take a 500 point head start every time. Besides, it'll be the 14s complaining when the 20 huddles up and gets a win/draw for doing nothing.
  9. Welcome back old friend! DMBz are indeed still attending and you may even recognize some of them. I'm guessing you and Nathan are resurrecting the Shop of Chop. Will Joel be joining us? I will throw down the challenge gauntlet right now: DMBz: Team Nut Punch challenges Shop of Chop aka Team Sheller to a first round throw down. Pick it up if you have the stones.
  10. I've been playing my 3 tie advanced list lately, but am looking at an Ewing list. I will give him a go and report back.
  11. It's cold here even though I already have my team in. If you could do something about it i would be greatly appreciative.
  12. Nothing wrong with bringing a 12-13. Heck, nothing wrong with bringing an 8 if that's what you want to do and it meets the team requirements. Dark Elves are a good army and get their share of SwedeComp hate, for sure. Largely justifiable I think.
  13. The FW DP is a cool model too though! I wonder...... I do tend to gravitate towards the softer lists. My Ogres from last year SwedeComp a 19.2, and that is at 2800 points.
  14. Not to derail the tread, but my DoC list is a 20. It can be done.
  15. I made the adjustments mentioned above and my SwedeComp is at 20.7. Dropped HoK on Juggy Added Juggy to ST Added one FH to each unit (2x6) Added a lesser gift 2500 points and 20+. I'll take it! I would've liked to use my FW Bloodthirster, but I don't think I would like the list it would take to get him in and keep my SwedeComp where I want it. No, 20 was not my goal - but I want something on the soft side for sure.
  16. I guess we are not rounding, so push the 2 Fury units into one and I am at a 20.4. I am thinking on dropping either the Juggy Herald or Skulltaker. I could drop the herald and get Skulltaker on a Juggy with 100 points left over. That might be the ticket. It would put my SwedeComp at 20.0, allow me to split my Furies back to 2 units and have 100 points to add a few models here and there.
  17. Daemon Prince [250] + Lesser Gift [25] + Chaos armour [20] = 300 Herald of Khorne [100] + Battle Standard [25] + Greater Locus of Fury [60] = 185 • Blood Throne of Khorne = 120 Herald of Khorne [100] + Juggernaut of Khorne [50] = 150 Skulltaker = 200 20 Bloodletters of Khorne [280] + Bloodreaper [10] + musician [10] + standard bearer [10] = 310 20 Bloodletters of Khorne [280] + Bloodreaper [10] + musician [10] + standard bearer [10] + Gleaming Pennant [5] = 315 5 Flesh Hounds of Khorne = 150 5 Flesh Hounds of Khorne = 150 5 Chaos Furies [60] + Daemon of Khorne [10] = 70 5 Chaos Furies [60] + Daemon of Khorne [10] = 70 3 Bloodcrushers of Khorne [195] + Bloodhunter [10] + standard bearer [10] = 215 Soulgrinder [250] + Daemon of Khorne [5] = 255 2,490 points SwedeComp comes in at 19.9, if i did my maths correctly. I would love to get Skulltaker onto a Juggy, but that is 50 points. I could take my spare 10 and drop the gift from the DP and get 35 of those points. I suppose I could drop the chaos armor from the DP and get there, but I don't want to leave the Prince nekkid. Besides, those 10 points could improve my BL banner or (more likely) get a claw on the Soulgrinder.
  18. Those changes would make a solid 13 (14 with the magic adjustment). Plenty of shooting, and the cauldron frenzy will make the BG even better. My experiences differ from those above apparently in that BG have always been good for me. With the extra attack from the CoB they seem to be to be better witches as they would have the same number of attacks but at S4 (tho no poison). Wyssan's is gold here too. I like a Beast wizzie in my DE. The +1S/+1T is really good for them.
