I think maybe GW is getting us, as the player base, to make their game for them. GW claims to be a miniatures company, not a game company. And what better way to appease the masses than to give them the game they want by letting them do all the leg work and develop said game? I can't believe I'm saying this, but perhaps GW has finally got wise and (as I've seen mentioned) the game is being play tested on a global scale and our input will actually carry some weight. Then again, if our input carried weight we'd still be playing pre-ET 8th.....

Am I the only one who sees the absurdity of this? Did they not read their own 'ruleset'? I almost couldn't get thru the last few lines because of the laughter....

Like Raindog's, my team consists of 'all-comers' lists - though mine are all soft lists (2x20, 19+ and 15+ SwedeComp). We are pretty light on magic (team total is 12-14 levels of magic) and very light on shooting. But we have decent speed in general and good fighting overall. And like RD there will be a number of factors involved in our pairings. Good games are the goal, however that might be achieved!

I'd love to join in this, but the start time is too early for my journey. Perhaps I can get a few pickup games over the course of the weekend. You up for a game if we can coordinate our schedules Burk?

I'm excited for this wave, though not quite as much as I am looking forward to the Tie Advanced upgrades in the Raider. At least until I get my hands on that.... I will be picking all these ships up though, with a few extras of the fighters. I am very much looking forward to the Hound's Tooth, followed closely by the Tie Punisher. I don't know if the 2-for-1 we're getting out of ordinance will make it good enough to see all the time, but it will help. This change/upgrade makes me wonder if ordinance was costed at half would it really make it very much more popular? Certainly a few choices would be, still I doubt there would be a proliferation of it. I do think it will make players consider them as an option when filling in the last few points of a list though.

Wanna trade the Iyanden for a High Elf Army?

I'm sure there are other pics out on the webs, but I saw them on the Nova Squadron Radio Facebook page (and the Spokane Fantasy Flight group page) and don't want to pull from there, especially with my phone :roll:. All 4 ships look cool, but I especially like the Scum Hounds Tooth and Tie Punisher. The K-wing looks interesting with a turret and what looks like a new action on its ship token. All of which probably means the Scum Kihraxz Fighter will be the best one of the lot lol.

I have loads of good games with friends as well, but would like to also say that I am very much gruntled with the store champ. I've been to and plan to catch another tourny in a week or so and another the week after that. Who knows though - I might be disgruntled after that too, we'll have to wait and see....
