  4. you cannot use extra defence (or attack) dice for range on 2ndary weapons, so against an advanced torp, max woudl be 5. (3 base, obsticale, stealth)
  5. 1 1 forward for that ship (or any big ship) puts them at a minimum of 5 from the edge and that assumes, the tie player goes full 5 in his first two moves....if he does some slow hard 1 turns for a few turns, then the big ship is in trouble having to take hard turns (red) to match....more than enough room, and I only need to go through 1 of their arcs if we do it right. I encourage you to play it. A competent player will go through it like the proverbial $%@T through a goose :)

This should not be an issue. the Senate usually runs a "large" team so some can play but not a full days worth. note that we are changing the admissions a bit this year in that there is a $5 open gaming fee, so more than likely, each additional person on the team above the normal size will have to pay that. But then you can adjust your costs for each person to equalize it.

  8. actually, staying behind them is easy. you just make hard turns to go downthe line, then k and repeat. sorry, I would salivate seeing this. but give it a try.

  10. you have to move every other turn, as the 0 move is red.
  11. Honestly, Lambda's only hard turn is a 2 red. I dont think this list would be very good. as soon as I see this list, I would deploy on both extreme wings. Then full forward and I am at range 1 on turn 3 with you only getting 1 shot with each ship. at that point a lambda dies each turn as you concentrate fire. HLC is not that good for its cost. 7 pts is horrible. Half the cost of a full ship. I would much prefer having more ships. Hey dont get me wrong, I like my lambda, but it doesnt have the manueverbilty to use that firepower and with only 1 AG, it is dead in a turn or two max. give it a try, but against a competent list, i think they will fail badly.
  12. note your HLC cannot fire to the rear. Secondary weapons only fire to the front arc unless a turret. you are stuck with your primary weapon value to the rear. on your list, once the enemy gets to your sides, you have trouble.
  13. if you read the books, it is clear it is not about life. it is about control. The gamesmakers didnt want to lose control, so they spared them specifically for the further ramifications to the whole society.
  14. you could with advanced sensors. without, PTL is after an action, which is after movement.
  15. no good green manuevers. the best manuever with a b-wing is the 2 turn. couple that with advanced sensors and it can almost just do a 90 turn on the spot, or move quite a buit away from your starting point. but if you use PTL with that, than advanced sensors are useless. Plus you want to avoide stress on Bwings as the AS cannot be used on the turn after you are stressed unlike ties with PTL as they stress to get action bonus's then do green to clear and stress again on the same turn. Much more useful then on bwigns who can only do it every other turn.

  19. i personaly dont use PTL on low levels, only on high levels. I want to see where everyone else is an use PTL to barrel/boost out of existing arcs.

  21. WIccus. one issue. You cannot boost/barrel roll into contact. you cannot do a boost or barrel roll if you cannot complete the move. so you cannot use it to hit people and avoid them shooting or end up on an asteroid. You can only overlap via normal manuevers so your the boost barrel roll is not quite as powerful as you note, but still very good.
