just found these guys, the lead singer suffers from super bad "im an angry metal head and am scary" face, but the music isn't bad.

so I have combed through multiple editions of the main rulebook and the empire army book and have no idea what picture Jim was talking about. Im pretty sure Jim is going senile.

but is he listed as infantry or monstrous infantry? If its infantry its only 1 attack, if he is monstrous infantry its 3 attacks at the higher initiative.

ok awesome, unfortunately I will be at the Red Fang show next tuesday but if you could put them in the back on the table that would be great. Also I started working on the preliminary models for the War Alters and im super stoked to finish it. Its going to make my steam tank look like a simple conversion.

I know im coming into this debate a little late and my comment might stir things up again, but Im going to join the side that says you can win games and receive good scores. I gave my pin to Shaine of Team Hammered Heads even though it was my only loss and I was almost tabled. Likewise, my teammate Greyson won 4 out of 5 games and received 4 pins. If you are fun to play against, it shouldnt matter what happens with the models. The fact that prizes are awarded randomly and not given to event winners makes winning the event only about having a fun time and bragging rights. Having close games really helps, but players should recognize fun opponents whether they win or lose.

Hey guys, so fantasy Ofcc has really awakened my appetite for fantasy again and I want to build a war alter and Hurricanum for Hamslam. To continue my theme of vampire hunters fighting at night I want to gather as many torches as possible. I was wondering if anyone had any extra torches that they didnt need. this includes the flagellant head that is on fire. Anything would really help as i want these two models to be even better conversions than my steam tank but I only have a month and a half to build and paint them. I wont be at DT for the next two Tuesdays but if you have any bits you could put them in my back work area. Thanks a bunch.

I am already trying to figure out lists for the hamslam so Tuesday the 14th I will be looking for a game.

I am also interested to see all of the scores broken up.

Thanks Yarb, and thanks again for the lunch on Saturday, it fueled our hungry bellies. Like Wiccus said, I dont think any of us were expecting to win the event. I had honestly been pretty burnt out on fantasy but OFCC has really reinvigorated my appetite. I just ordered a bunch of bits to start work on a couple of big models for my empire army, hopefully I will have them done for the Bellingham Tourny at the end of November. Thanks again to Ordo for putting on such a great event, I will go every year that I am able for the rest of time.

This was my first OFCC fantasy event and I had a great time. A big thank you to everyone who helped put this event together. The location was great, the terrain was the great, and the opponents were great. I only ask that Shaine buy me a beer next time before he has his way with me.

Thanks for the response! Finally its time for an update. First off is my nearly finished warlord. The model and the base are finished but there will eventually be another model on the taller rock in the back. next next up are the berzerkerz. The Tattoos are a little brighter in the pictures than in real life. And I built another pt of warriors including 2 shield maidens. Thats it for now, hopefully I can get the next unit of warriors painted in the next couple of weeks.
