  1. Brick has bowed out this year. So the team 'not appearing in this event' is looking for a fourth. We currently have the following lineup... Team Name: not appearing in this event Captain: bkieft (Brehk Kieft) Army: Warriors of Chaos Player: dkieft (Derk Kieft) Army: Daemons of Chaos Player: Yarbicus (Steve Yarborough) Army: Lizardmen
  2. Altered Team Name: not appearing in this event Captain: bkieft (Brehk Kieft) Army: Warriors of Chaos Player: dkieft (Derk Kieft) Army: Daemons of Chaos Player: Yarbicus (Steve Yarborough) Army: Lizardmen Player: Brick Bungalow (Ryan Santos) Army: Dwarves
  3. I WILL be here. If I am not everyone that did attend gets a free public shaming of me.
  4. Boo hiss on me too. Meant to make it to the Spring league at least a few times and never managed it. It did however motivate me to 'put together' (not Paint) the 2000pt force to play. 1800pts for the week I was sick + 200pts of knights for this week but the significant other is leaving for training in Chicago for a week tomorrow so that blew that idea. Now that I have the basis for the force put together, I can get to painting and be ready for OFCC.
  5. I agree with Fixxer. After you try the 2 large units I think you will want to diversify the size of the units to allow you to take on a more diverse set of opponents. O&G strength is really in diversity and the units you can count on to die spectacularly so that the rest of the army can be successful. All of the spiders in a few units gets you gains against some armies but not others.

    The Pixies

I am going. Nathan, let me know if you need an outlet for the tickets. I might know a few people that are interested.
  7. I am really digging the designs of the helmets
  8. That was my thought. I noticed a while ago if I am going to put relief into a base it is better if I do it with the original layering and not worry about the details until I had added some texturing.
  9. I am interested in all 3 if you still have them.
  10. The waiting seems to be over. We will be moved out at the end of the week!

    Welcome!

A blog is a good motivator as it makes you slow down and consider how you are working towards your goals. It also puts it in the public space and works as a kind of accountibility to yourself. It ultimately is what you want it to be.
  12. So after OFCC this year it was time to pack up the armies for the duration of relocation to Portland. I left a few things out to paint or finish painting but the time has been squandered looking for houses, selling houses, packing, entertaining the young bucks and generally being impatiant. Move date has been set for middle of January but with the delays so far I am trying not to be too optimistic. Plenty of gaming room and a hobby room in the new place and a bar to service the gaming space...I just need to do a tad remodeling to make it awesome. So many plans... I am a little bit pleased about the delay in the OFCC until later in the year so that I might make a stab at the WoC army this year but with the move I am not sure. Did I mention that I hate waiting...
