Another great scenario battle. This time saw the nefarious Bad Moon Goblins with the aid of a Giant and Mangler Squig face off against the Exile Aelfs (Dark Elves). The Dark Elves were attempting to stop the Goblins from unwittingly opening a portal to the chaos realms and summoning a Daemon through an ancient artifact. It was a bloody affair but in the end the Goblins were successful in opening the portal. The Dark Elves were not fast enough. Damn Gobbo fanatics...

Starter box all assembled. Contemplating options for the bases. Not sure if I want to go resin or make my own? If I make my own what should I put on them? I'm not interested in doing the normal sand/rock like my fantasy figs. I'm also getting ready to tackle the remotes while I impatiently await the rest of my stuff!

The Stonehorn is tough! Last night I got the charge off against an Oldblood on Carnisaur. Basically the Seraphon had to commit a unit of Temple Guard to the fight. In the end the Stonehorn killed the Carnisaur but died to Tempke Guard and Salamander.

I talked to Frontline gaming about the fat mats. They gave the impression that they were going to do the Industrial mat in 4'. So time will tell.

So I took my 16 year old son through his first game of Age of Sigmar. The battle took place in the realm of Aqshy (fire). My Ogor (ogres) tribe was rampaging through the ruins of a city in search of glutton and wanton avarice. The mighty Seraphon (Lizardmen) descended from the heavens to stop the nefarious plans of the Ogors. We had great fun but the battle went a little slow as it was a learning game. We took armies that were organized as follows: 80 wound army max, 25 wound scroll cap, 1-3 Heros, 0-3 Warmachines, 0-3 Monsters. I thought my Ogors were going to pound the Seraphon but the game was extremely tight. At the end of the game, the Ogors were down to a heavily wounded Tyrant and one wounded Irongut. While the Seraphon still had a unit of Skinks, one Bastilladon, and one Salamander. I conceded at that point as the Tyrant was going to eat a solar beam in the face next turn. My Ogor will have their revenge and mutton!

Started assembling the starter box last night. I got about half way through the figs. I have been assembling GW Heroic scale for so long that I forgot what it was like to work with a real scale. Arms and guns are sooo small! They go together so well that some pieces stick without glue and the mold lines are near non-existent. The detail is out standing and I can't wait to paint them. I wish the rest of my order would come...

I have an FO in the M-drone remote. I do plan on picking up both engineers. The one with the auto cannon and the one with the M12 rifle. What about a second hacker?
