  1. I'd be interested in a semi regular Sunday WOW game night of Age of Sigmar. Who else might like to show on Sundays?
  2. Anybody looked at the UK Independent Pool and Clash Comp? These comp rules have had some European tournaments ran against them with interesting results. They are located on the Warhammer Forums. http://warhammer.org.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=99&t=130170
  3. I would be interested to know also.
  4. I kinda like how the Lords of War Tournament ran this past summer in Canada. Each player had 15 War Scrolls max to build an army from. For each game the players choose 8-10 War Scrolls with a max of 25 wounds per scroll, 80 wounds total in the army, 1-3 characters, 0-2 Warmachines and Monsters. This allows some customization between games depending on opponents army and scenario.
  5. So I'm sure I'm confusing myself and not thinking this through completely but I'm stuck on the number of attacks a model gets. If the description states that a model is armed with 'X' weapon but the model itself has that weapon in both hands do I get to multiply the Attack number on the Warscroll by two? The description for the unit does not say anything about having the weapon in each hand. For example the Wrathmongers in Quest for Ghal Maraz says that they are armed with flails and have 4 attacks on profile. The description does not state that they have weapons in both hands but clearly the models have flails in both hands. Is the number of attacks 4 or 8 per model? Thanks...
  6. Confused??? What are you referring too? I don't have anything in full caps.
  7. In order to properly demo a game, the contents of the game box set should be fully assembled and painted! Otherwise you are not showing the full potential of the game to potential new players.
  8. No doubt they are great looking figures with some pretty neat rules, but only time will tell if they warrant 'Top Tier'. I'm sure I will be joining you sometime with my version of the Sigmarites.
  9. I really hate to say it but I kinda like the look of the round bases and the fact that I don't have to assemble and paint hundreds of figs unless I really want to. That is appealing to me.
  10. So how many people in the community have succumbed to the shiny new bauble that is Sigmar and his golden warriors? Are we seeing a trend of a lot of people playing the Sigmarites since they come in the box set or are people playing the armies they already have? Just curious really.
  11. So I understand that bases do not matter in AoS, but what are people's thoughts on converting existing models over to rounds and ovals? First off I think they look great and that's coming from a long time square baser who always poked fun at the "silly round basers"! What size are we generally going to use? Some models are easy like Ogres and Trolls who are on 40mm square and can transfer straight to equivalent round 40mm. Chaos and Orcs are also easy at 25mm but it would appear that the AoS starter has the Chaos boys on 32mm? What do we do with the Elves, Dwarfs and Men who are on 20mm now? I don't believe there is an equivalent 20mm round made, but maybe there is. I honestly have not done my research here. I guess that means they move over to 25mm? What about characters do they go on a certain size or whatever looks the best? Seems like the round bases have a ton more sizes than the squares. So this is really just my musings on what others are doing. I plan on switching over-slowly. The painted stuff may stay on squares since that's how they were finished. Kinda like nostalgia and all that but the rest is going to change. Again, I realize that bases are not supposed to matter but I think that visually the game will look better if we had some structure to the base sizes especially if people start to house rule that bases will be used for in game measuring.
  12. We're any comp restriction rules in effect such as wound limits or limits on Monsters, Heroes, war machines, etc?
  13. Anybody care to share some battle reports from last Friday evenings AOS battles at Guardian Games?
  14. How is that any different than a skeleton horn blower? No lips or lungs for that one either!
  15. I'm still a couple of months out but was just curious.
  16. How long will the AOS Friday night game night at GG go for? Is anybody going to be playing AOS Sunday's at WOW game night?
  17. Who is determining what something is worth and how do they come to that points cost? What does Pool and SDK stand for?
  18. Please someone take this thing off my hands. I have four more to figure out what to do with! Just moved to a smaller place and do not have the gaming space I used to. Thanks, D
  19. So I'm working a deal on the painted game table. That leaves the unpainted table. Selling for $200. That's over 30% off of retail.
  20. Price reduced... $150.00 for the painted table.
